Exactly as promised

I contacted Waters Tree Service to receive an estimate to trim trees around our home. The owner came by the same day, gave me an estimate and a date to complete the job. Blake and his crew (4) arrived as scheduled and completed the job in a timely manner. Blake and his crew were extremely professional, courteous, and very efficient. I highly recommend Waters Tree Service to anyone looking for the professionalism this company provides.

They gave  a fair estimate for the job.  They arrived on time and were very courteous.  They worked in a safe manner. The job was completed  by the end of the day.   They cut/trimmed six very large limbs from two trees and cut/trimmed 10-15 smaller limbs, branches from two other trees.  After blowing debris from roof, sidewalks and patio pads, they picked up every piece of moss, branches, little twigs, leaves, etc.   They left my yard cleaner than it was when they arrived.  I have several other trees that will need trimming in the future  and will definitely be calling Mr. Waters.

They were punctual, efficient and thorough.  Very pleased with job.

My insurer was pleased.

They did an excellent job but they were hard to communicate with. But the actual work was fantastic.

This is a mixed review overall. I believe Waters Tree Service had the best intentions in agreeing to perform our required tree removal, but it just didn't end up being an optimal experience. We have a very tall and very dead tree which was positioned next to the house with large limbs hanging over the roof, utility lines, and air conditioning unit. The insurance process ended up being lengthy and Waters came out 2-3 times to update their estimate to satisfy the process, and didn't change their estimate a single time which is commendable. During this time, the tree became "too dead" for the normal tree removal procedures to be effective. Waters came out to perform the work roughly mid-day on a Thursday. That afternoon, they managed to clean as high up the tree as they could get without climbing. On Friday morning, they intended for one of their climbers to reach the remaining limbs, but the tree was too far dead to safely conduct the climb. Unfortunately the tree was too tall to cut the high limbs safely from their bucket loader as well. We arrived home by lunchtime on Friday and noticed that the entire crew was gone, and that the tree had not been worked on. We waited for a phone call all day before calling Waters after 5:00 to find out what the situation was. They explained the aforementioned difficulties that they ran into that morning to complete the job. They also explained that they were attempting to borrow a taller bucket loader that would allow them to finish job, and they would call me back when they knew they would be able to secure one and come back. On the following Tuesday, 4 days later, I called Waters back and they then indicated they did not feel that they would be able to finish the job, and they referred us to speak with two other tree service providers. Finally, they did not charge us for the work they did manage to complete, but they did do some damage to our deck (and they didn't mention it) that will require some repair. We did not notify them of the deck damage.
They did many things well including being patient with the insurance and estimate process, being responsive at the beginning when necessary, sticking to their estimate, showing up when they were supposed to, and referring us to another tree service (which did end up working out). We were disappointed with the lack of communication after they realized that completing the job would be a problem, and the lack of communication once they decided they would not be able to complete the job. We wish they would have been more communicative and upfront with not feeling comfortable finishing the job. We will not contract with them again, but we would not advise others to avoid them because we believe our situation was pretty unique and challenging.

He has always given great service, is prompt, and cleans everything up. This was the second time I used him, so after I called him for the quote on removing two trees, I did not have to meet him. He gave me the quote within a week, and his price was competitive. He removed the trees within a couple of weeks, but a couple of small areas of the stump remained. I called and his wife/ office manager was of great assistance in getting him back in a couple of weeks to finish grinding those areas. He also trimmed some overhanging limbs from a live oak tree, to allow more sun on part of my yard, and all I had to do was describe it, and he completed that work excellently. He was referred to me originally by my father, who continues to use him as well.

The job was not started nor finished on time. The contractor insisted that I pay for the work without having the opportunity to inspect the finished job because "I have to make payroll tomorrow". He was so vociferous I had to hang up on him. Then he had his wife call. I asked for a mere 24 hrs to check the work and he came un-hinged. If you hire them be prepared for this extremely unprofessional and abusive behavior. Better still hire someone else.

.They were outstanding.  Very careful and considerate.  They racked my backyard.  They came and spent the entire day in my back yard.  They were 100 year old oaks that they removed.  They were the lowest of all 4 bids.

It went well. They did a good job. They were professional and punctual.

I got different quotes. His rate was cheapest and he had highest rating on Angie’s list. I would use him in the future.

They did a great job, and for a really great price. They removed the tree and grinded the stump, cleaned off the roof and removed the debris from the front yard. I highly recommend this company for any tree service!
