Terminix - Pooler -Termite & Pest Control

Great the monthly mosquito service is wotking! Pest control was able to provide quick, professional services without up charges until we had it under control! The other crews did a great job of cleaning up after themselves and professional. The other crews need to use the technology and courtesies the pest dept does on arrival times!

Their services did not were not effective at all and wanted us to pay an additional $6000 for more work. We ended up going with another company.

I'm not pleased. I've had a few problems and they always tell me that they can't address the issue with the pest control. I had them use some scare tactics on the termite inspection. I had someone else come out to check what they had told me and found out it was not exactly as they have described. They need to stick to their pest control and termite control and not try to spare the crawlspace of the houses. They needed to just stay with what they have been doing and not scare people. I've been a customer for a long time. They've been pushing to do an encapsulation of the crawlspace of my house. I'm very displeased. They were quoting me to do what they wanted to do with $30000. It quickly came down to $22000. That raised red flags with me. The young man who comes out and actually does the pest control has always been very professional and very nice. I don't have a problem with him. We got the termite control people who come in and try to scare you.

It went fine. They did the entire perimeter of the home and placed roach bait cardboard inside. On another note . My Mother Edna L. Russell, age 90 years, 6 months, died on February 25, 2015. I did not know if I could afford Terminix anymore on my pension. I cancelled services. I realized recently, I could not afford not to have them. So, I restarted my contract. They will be here next week, to perform insect maintenance. I sure miss my Mama. She was a great lady, in her own right, and to me. James Russell

They're the only once I knew about.  They service two in a home.  I went with them even though I maybe switching the one in Atlanta but the one out here, I don't think there's anybody who works anytime and it really is the reconstruction part of the contract that attracts us to them.  They rebuild the termites do enter and re-did the damage.  They do come a year and inspect and the end of contract that enables the rebuild if there's any damage.  They're inspecting all the time...flies or termites; they're going to treat it and rebuild that area.  If they find termites or damage it wasn't their fault because they inspected it.   So far I don't have any complains.

Terrible experience. The service man was very unprofessional, and continually let me know how far his house was from my location; like I was interested in that. Barely sprayed for insects; although he did kill some wasps nests. Did not treat the carpenter bees as I was told that would be done! I brought this to his attention, and he said don't worry about them, they will be going away soon. He was more scared of snakes, and reminded me of this. What a Wimp! Yes, Georgia has snakes, I told him. OMG!

Pest control

I bought my home in 1994. We live in the south and Termites are a real problem. The previous owner had a Termite Guarantee with Terminix so we continued to use their services. We paid an annual fee for a Termite inspection and re-treatment if there was any signs of Termite activity.  First of all, Terminix kept reasing the cost of the annual agreement.  Then they provided less and less customer service.  They would not call to schedule the annual inspection.  It was the customer's responsibility to call them to make the appointment.  They didn't seem to have a problem remembering to send me a bill!  The final straw was when I received a card in the mail telling me "Sorry we missed you" after they were scheduled to come out for our annual inspection.  I was home for that appointment and they did not show up.  A proper Termite inspection includes both an outside and inside inspection.  I called them and talked to a supervisor and told them no one showed up so the technician had lied about completing an inspection.  I made another appointment for an inspection and no one showed up again!  I just got tired of them increasing our annual costs while their customer service kept getting worse.  Terminix is a rip off.

I also have the pest control which is excellent to have. You can call them anything you see a bug.

Having recently rented a very old farm house, I was in dire need of pest control.  I contacted Terminex, having utilized them for the past 23 years at my previous residence.  The technician that responded was on time, polite and very professional.  He treated the inside and outside of the residence, thoroughly explained the contract and future treatments.  The overall experience was very professional.
