SAVANNAH FLOOR COVERINGS

First of all, we were quoted a price, then after they realized we lived in the Landings, they gave us a higher price quote. We called them on it and met "in the middle". More price increases came along that I needed to write checks out for....tax, shipping, handling, etc... They had a contractor install that did a very unprofessional job. The steps were not finished with a bevel. I asked for any remaining tiles to be left, but "surprise!" they said they didn't have a scrap left, but when they were called back to repair a misaligned tile, they indeed, had an extra tile. The tile was very expensive and I would have liked extra on hand for myself. Also, our deck was recently painted and they cut the tiles on the deck without drop clothes and the ceramic dust literally ate the paint off. We were not compensated in any way. The installers were sent back and hosed it down and left. The minute it dried, the deck was, again, ruined. They put in a wood piece where the hall met the kitchen and now that door won't work because the wood piece is too high. The contractor/installer and his family that did the installation were very unprofessional and seemed like transients. The "head" guy wanted to talk about his baby that his girlfriend recently had and at that point, his daughter (one of the installers) pointed out that his girlfriend was younger than she. WAY TOO MUCH INFORMATION!!!! I would never want to go through that again. At this point, we are having the deck, tile repair and kitchen door repaired at our expense.

Very professional, easy to work with and honest. They removed the old (very old) carpet and pad, disposed of them and installed the new carpet. No surprises, right on estimate and good service.

It was great, they were on time they were neat. The work was done when they told me it would be as well as finished on time. The price I felt was right on target.
