I want to fix all your problems. I would like you to know that we are still a Monitronics Dealer. We currently their 2nd largest dealer in the USA and have been with them since 2011. Monitronics is a great partner with us and we are proud to be part of their dealer program. After reading your complaint I had my VP of Operations immediately give you a call to schedule a service call to repair all of your cameras. All of our cameras come with a 1 year warranty and we have an extended warranty that you can purchase at the time of installation. We want happy customers so even though your cameras are out of warranty I want to fix them for you at no cost. My VP of Operations offered this to you and you declined to have us come back to your house. That offer is still available to you and I hope you take us up on it. We were just awarded the SUPER SERVICE AWARD from Angie's List and we take that very seriously. No equipment is perfect but the company that installs has to stand behind it. We are a LOCAL company that has been in business for over 10 years with 80,000+ customers installed. We are the right choice for HOME SECURITY and CCTV systems. They charge us every month and I think the price is good. I like their system itself. But I don’t really use the system much so I don’t know how to grade them. The quality is good. I did not have any conversation with them after the system was installed. I did not have any problems or issues with it either. They came out when they were supposed to and they were on time.

A+ with everything that was promised. We use this company for our personal home in Pooler, GA. Chris E was our technician and he installed everything perfect the first time. We have not had a single issue with the alarm system since it was first installed 4 years ago. We also added Alarm.com interactive services from the start and we love the technology that allows us to remotely arm/ disarm and control the system. They are really good. He came out, he explained everything, he didn't try to push us towards anything, and he said that if we needed some time then we could let him know. The technician was great, and most importantly, after everything was done, the sales person came back to our house just to make sure everything was working correctly. I would recommend them for their customer service and affordability.

It worked well, and we never had an issue where the national alarm system did not work. I do have a bit of an issue, where a buddy of mine used them and his monthly payment was about the same as mine, but he got more features, and so I didn't understand that. Other than that, they were good to go. I would tell people to shop around and see what everyone else has, to make sure they are getting the whole product. My buddy got the whole camera system, and he had that along with the regular security system. My wife had an issue with the remote of the system, and instead of talking her through it, they sent a guy down there, and they charged her like $50 for that. They could have talked her through what could have been done, and that was kind of shady.

They showed up, they did what they were supposed to do, and we haven't had the cops show up at our door when they are not supposed to, so we don't have any complaints. There was no fee for the system, but we have a monthly monitoring fee. They were prompt, they came out very quickly, after we made the initial contact, and they were on time for their appointment. The thing that concerned us a little bit, because we didn't have any experience in a home security system, they were a little pushy once we sent the check out, expecting that they were going to do it the same day. They weren't 100% warm and understanding about the whole business. We haven't had any problem with the system.

The install and set up went just fine. The components are up-to-date as well as wireless and they work as advertised. You do get wrapped into a 3 year contract for them to install the system for free and the monthly monitoring fee is a bit pricey. There is no option to downgrade the monitoring or the system so you are stuck with what you sign up for. Additionally, there are some issues with the mobile app and PHT's geo-fencing feature not working as it is supposed to. All-in-all, the company is fine and the products and services are as advertised, just be prepared to commit for the long term.
