I contacted Jenkins Plumbing in Pooler Georgia to identify and repair a slab leak that was coming up from under my home's foundation. Their office sent a young man who informs me upon arrival that their air compressor is inoperative that day but he will use another leak detection method similar to a stethoscope instead. The normal detection system uses a high pressure air tank that blows air into the pipes and is one of the most accurate methods for identifying the leak location. He assures me that the audio detection will be just as effective and since I am at a tremendous disadvantage without water and in need of an immediate leak repair I reluctantly agree. I point to a spot in my house where I hear the water flowing. But instead he proceeds to use his stethoscope and points to a spot in another room. He then proceeds with a jack hammer to dig a 15 foot trench through 2 rooms, tearing up hardwood flooring and ceramic tile, ending up at the exact spot where I heard the leak. He then replaces a 5" section (the one thing he did correctly...I hope). Believing the worst is over I go back to my office while he proceeds to fill in the 15' trench with concrete. Upon my return and inspection of his finished concrete work I realize that he did not use a finishing trowel. He simply poured the quickcrete leaving an uneven surface that could not support the replacement tile or wood flooring. That evening my wife and I had to chisel the concrete by hand which took about 2 hours of hard labor. The next day I contacted and spoke directly with Mr. Jenkins about this shoddy work and asked for some consideration of the $1200 I paid. He said no, that Jenkins Plumbing does not guarantee their work and he is not responsible for the results. I cannot emphasize enough the lack of professionalism demonstrated by this company and the owner Mr. Jenkins. Feel free to contact me directly.

11 am appointment. Arrived at 11:01 and said sorry they were late. Very friendly and professional. That is who I will call for all of my future plumbing needs

It went fairly well until they cut the electric line. They could be more responsible for what they did.

We had no problems with them at the time. Everything just worked very well. They replaced the hot water heater and everything worked and we paid. We had no problems.

Lynn arrived on time, and immediately sent to work.

Eric was tech that responded. He was courteous, thorough, and provided a timely assessment of problem, damage and estimate. He took action quickly, brought in necessary equipment and resolved my problem effectively and under estimate.

Late Friday Night and sewage was beginning to flood our downstairs bathroom flowing into the kitchen and living room. Gary with Jenkins plumbing arrived on time with a great personality. He was able to fix the problem, remove the toilet, vacuumed up the sewage that was left after I tried to clean myself. highly recommend Gary who was with Jenkins plumbing.

They called and had an opening to come 2 hours early which was fine with me. Eric arrived and determined the faucet had been broken before and repaired with glue. He felt he coud rebuild it (saving us money) and he was able to accomplish that in a timely manner and for a great price. He even had to go back to the shop to repair the handle and gave us a break on the Time Charge since that (rebuild) was his idea.
Personable, professional and a successful job plus he saved us some money! We will ask for Eric again.

job was done just fine. Of course they had to cut sheet rock out from behind stove wall which required getting someone to repair that.

It went well. Every time I've called them they get it fixed right away.

He came in with an apparatus and went into my toilet. Next thing you know he pulls out a spoon. I was pleased with the service. He was in and out in 10 minutes.

Jenkins performed the water heater replacement on behalf of a big box store. Both the scheduler (Marie) and the installer (Dan) were very courteous, responsive, and pleasant to work with. They had to work a few kinks created by a less than accurate phone estimate created by the store, but did so professionally and made sure that the store's errors in the quote did not create customer impact. I would highly recommend their services.
