Benjamin, the man who came out to do the work, made a mess of things, didn’t finish the work, and took much longer than the projected amount of time. He took out a carpet and was supposed to complete the hardwood flooring. He did a great job of installing the hardwood, but he did not stain it properly. We had to re-stain our entire downstairs flooring that was about 1,500 square feet. We fired him, but later gave him another opportunity. He started something and said he would come back to finish the project, but he never did and we did not hear from him again. He did not finish the cabinets, didn’t put the stain on the floor correctly, and just left our house a mess. When I called the office, the woman working in there assured us that she would do what she can to help us out. The individual who completed the assessment said that the cost of finishing and repairing the issues would exceed their limitations. We kept calling the woman who promised and she refused to answer or call us back. We had to hire someone else to come out and repair, clean-up, and finish what the man with this company did not. We hired him for the work because of the cost and his great personality. I really believe that he wanted and thought he could do the job, but when it was push to shove, he was unable to deliver the service.

The last thing that I need to say is that after our issues back in April Benjamin showed up on time from then on. I respect him very much. Not only is he super talented and friendly, he has become a valued friend to both my husband and me. He has redeemed himself to the degree that now I am handing out his business card to my friends with confidence that he will do right by each and every one of them. Kudos to him for getting his act together!!!!!
