I contacted Duane about a week before service, and an appointment was made. I was having problems with the toilets cutoffs. After waiting almost a week to get the job done I felt pressed, and I am pretty sure Rescue Plumbing knew this.
Duane called and quoted me $475 for two toilets shutoff valves and two flow valves. I questioned the price and Duane agreed to $375.
At Home Depot the valves costs $10 apiece and the flow valves costs $12 apiece.
I was thinking the job was somehow complex but when the service tech callback within 1 ½ hours and said I am done. I realize the job was not complex, I had just been charged $375 for 1 ½ hours of work by Rescue Plumbing, and they wanted $475.
"This is a landlord tenant situation. We scheduled the service at the tenant's convenience. What needed to be done and the cost of the job were agreed upon before initiating the job. The job was performed quickly and efficiently and the repairs were made and to our knowledge there has been no problem with the work we did. Unfortunately it appears that this customer feels he was overcharged due to our being able to complete service within a timely manner, not taking into consideration that you are paying for our knowledge and Skills as you would with any other professionally licensed provider."

I did not search for the receipts from the two visits, but recall is was springish. The cost was quite competitive, but do not know the exact cost.
The plumber was very cordial and shared on one of the jobs that what we thought was the problem, was not and that the repair would be much less costly. That is true professionalism in my book.
He worked diligently, chatted and shared experiences. When job was completed, cleared the area of all debris and will be back to do two more jobs in a couple of weeks.
I highly recommend this gentleman, as he did everything I would expect an outside source to do. If he cannot do the job, he shared that he has many other contractors that he can refer.
If you are in need of plumbing, I suggest you , at least, include Rescue Plumbing on your quote list.
