They did a wonderful job. They did not give us the lowest estimate, and additional costs were incurred because they found rot that needed to be repaired before putting up the new siding, but the quality of their work was outstanding and we are confident we got our money's worth. The crew members worked hard and cleaned up each day on this multi-week job. If they did interior work, we'd hire them for all our indoor projects immediately. We highly recommend them.

We love them! They do everything they say they will do, they show up when they say they will, and they have good prices. They make everything look easier than it seems. We keep using and will continue to use them. We are thrilled to be able to recommend them to Angie's List!

Armando know as AC was our foreman on the job. He had a crew of 3 that replaced the windows and siding. A crew of 2 that painted the house and a crew of 2 that replaced all the gutters. AC was at the site everyday ensuring everything went smoothly. We discovered we had some water damage that needed to be repaired prior to finishing the siding. This crew made sure the repairs were done properly and didn't cover up anything. They were on time everyday and cleaned up the site every evening. They even tolerated my new puppy and made sure he was securely in the yard at all times. Each member of the team was professional at all times and made certain we understood every step of our job as it progressed. The entire job took about 4 weeks and what an excellent job they all did. We feel as though we have a new home. We received other bids on our job and this was not the least expensive but it the best money we have ever spent on home improvements. I would use Echols for any home improvement I need done in the future. Thanks for the peace of mind we had during the entire process. Ivan (the puppy) and I really miss seeing the guys every day.

1. Echols' salesperson impressed me from the start; Gregg observed and explained things that other reps did not.  That is why I selected Echols to replace my roof, and they followed through to the end of the job.
2. They provided excellent pre-work instructions and informed us what to expect (and they did what they said they'd do).
3. They were on time each day, professional in every way, worked non-stop, cleanup up each day and at completion.
4. Salesperson checked in at least daily to make sure we had no issues.
5. Echols' follow-up after the job was completed is also very prompt and thorough (e.g. warranty registration and info), at no prompting from me.

They were fine. The price was a little bit high but he was totally honest with me because I ha all my material. All he had to do was install it but he was a very nice guy, I must give him credit for that. He was on time and they get paid by the hour. I could have maybe used my warranty but I didn't but that is what I should have done.

Job went well - but noisier than need be we think as they dropped heavy pallets of shingles on the roof and this knocked pictures off the wall!  Never had this happen during re-roofing before.  Gregg is professional and crew arrived on time.

At one time, a trusted provider, however over the last year or so they have become very unresponsive.  



Two repairs ago, after several days of no promised call backs, I had to escalate to the owner just to get someone to call me back to schedule a repair.



In the latest incident, a repair that they made failed on a Sunday, and I had water leaking into my home.  They had an answering service, but would not call anyone.  You would think in this kind of situation, they would make an effort.



I called them first thing Monday morning.  Late Monday afternoon, I got a voicemail saying that they would be in touch with me as soon as they could.  Finally on Tuesday afternoon, they called and said that they could squeeze me in for an ESTIMATE on Thursday, but did not know when they could make the fix on their failed repair.



You really get the impression when you call them that they are doing you a favor just by speaking to you.

UPDATE:  The emergency repairs needed on Sunday to stop water leaking into my home that they would not respond to cost $150.   Getting the area that they had previously "repaired" corrected cost an additional $650.

The whole thing from start to finish went great. A.C. came to my house and gave me an estimate for the work I needed done. From the moment I met A.C I liked him. He is very personable and professional with a great deal of knowledge. And for me personally he made a very nerve wracking ordeal simple and pleasant. He was very open and honest not only about the job that needed to be done but also about personal issues and life in general. I was given a start date of two to three weeks but as it turns out they were able to start about a week earlier than anticipated. A.C. notified me ahead of time and they showed up the day he promised. The work crew was led by Maurice. He was very nice and professional. They got to work immediately and never stopped. I was amazed at their efficiency and quality of work. It was a small crew of two but I could not imagine having two more productive workers anywhere. I was assured by A. C. that they were the best,especially at the carpentry repairs that my house needed and he was not wrong. I am so happy that I had them do my house. The transformation of my house from an eyesore in the neighborhood to a beautiful elegant looking house is astounding and makes me so proud and happy and I have Maurice and his crew to thank for that. The one regret I have is that I didn't learn his assistant's name. But they are outstanding workers and people. I would be remiss if I did not mention Antonio. He also helped with the siding but his job was to take care of the painting. Antonio, thank you. You did a beautiful job painting my house. The siding, the doors, the railing, the soffits and gutters and everything else. Just an absolutely wonderful job that you and your crew did. I have already had compliments on my house.Finally, I just want to say that Echo was the final company that I got an estimate from and I am so thankful that I did. They are so professional and friendly but most of all the work they perform is second to none. I had seven estimates, some more, some less than Echo but there is not another company out there with the years of experience and the reputation that they have and for my money they are hands down the best company to hire. Thank you A.C., Maurice, Antonio and the rest of you guys for making my home so beautiful.      

Sebastian and Mario came to my house and did an excellent job in replacing rotten window sills with PVC.  They were very professional and pleasant to deal with.  I am very pleased with the work they performed.  I also had my wooden decorative arch replaced as it was also rotten.  They are very honest and dependable.  I liked the fact that the Echols family sent me a letter and told me that their service extends to after the job is finished and if I had any problem to call them and they would take care of any concerns.  I would recommend them to all in need of a professional Master Carpenter that Sebastian is purported to be.  He is very good at his craft.  Echols was recommended to me from Ms. Patsy at Cobb County Schools.  She had them do a roofing job and was super pleased.  I always do my research on any company I use and I found Echols to be well respected in the community and with no bad records with the BBB or consumers.

I hired ECHOLS to put my new roof on in June of 2014. They
were very professional from start to finish. Before the job started, a representative
from the office called and explained everything that would happen when my roof
was installed. The Trash container, materials and crew arrived just as I was
told to expect.  My roof was completed in
one day. When the job was completed, the crew cleaned up every scrap of
shingles and nails.  I am very happy with
my new roof. I believe that I have the best looking roof in the neighborhood. I
would recommend ECHOLS to anyone.

professional & speedy work

We had our entire roof replaced 5 years ago by Houseworth, who left us with installation problems. They would not respond to our attempts to contact them after the job was done. Dr. Roof seems to have done a great job -- the leaks have stopped -- but I am not a roofing expert, don't get up on our high, steep roof, and am therefore not able to verify the work myself.

The whole process was very professional.  We initially requested roof quotes from multiple contractors at the end of 2012.  Echols was not the cheapest, nor the most expensive.
After receiving quotes from 3 contractors, it took us over 6 months to make our decision.  Throughout the process, the Echols's Sales guy was very understanding of our many questions and concerns.   And he was very responsive.  This point was big for us, there was no 'Sales Pressure' at anytime.
With the initial quote we were also giving a customer package.  This proved to be a great resource and provided documentation on the shingles, warranty info, contractor insurance info,  references, and even the overall work process while the installers were on site.  
The installation started and ended when they said it would.  And the installers did a great job cleaning up when they were done.

Due to a family emergency they helped us move the project up and complete it as promised.  They cleaned up as they went.  Everyone from the sales, project, and office were super nice.  Our neighbors were having their roof replaced at the same time from another provider.  It was interesting to compare the two companies as our neighbors did not have the same experience or timeliness as we did. Echols actual cares about you as a customer.  When we found a squirrel nest in our attic a year later, they came out an checked the roof and fixed the damage to the roof no problem.  We will use them in the future!

Echols did an outstanding job! We love the new windows and doors. The house looks great with the new paint and gutters! Echols also had done a previous job for us  in 1998 in which they replaced our siding with HardyPlank. They did a great job and it still looks great!

Terrible on site manager, not honest throughout in my opinion.

It turned out very well. They replaced my roof about a decade ago. When I had a few leaks this past winter, they promptly came out and repaired them.
