Carla's Furniture Gallery

I purchased a Franklin leather sofa and loveseat from Carla's Furniture Gallery located in Pembroke, GA for $3800.I was promised a 30 day delivery but it didn't arrive until 3 weeks after that. The first day I noticed that the seat cushion was compressing down too far and that the headrests were way overstuffed. I was extremely uncomfortable with my head and neck being pushed down to my chest. The next day when I started to sit back I felt a hard bar across my bottom. The cushion compresses down to nothing so I am actually sitting on a wood slat. Cheap ***! So I contacted Carla and 30 days later the rep shows up. He agrees that the cushion is faulty and promises to replace it. Then he goes to the back of the couch and unzips 3 compartments and start pulling out and restuffing each section. It felt somewhat better but far from perfect. After they left I see a wad of stuffing on the floor behind the couch. I thought perhaps he had left some out so I looked back up in there and see that the top zipper which holds all the stuffing for the headrest is completely busted open. It appeared as if he had zipped a wad of the stuffing in the zipper causing it to separate and break. In fact the other two zippers had wads of stuffing hanging out of them. By this time I had had it and requested to return the faulty sofas to Carla. She has refused saying there is nothing wrong with the sofas. She claims it is a special order and cannot be refunded. Apparently she doesn't care one iota about her customers even if she delivers defective goods. I am now left sitting on a $3800 sofa and loveseat that has defective cushions with a headrest that has to be duct taped to stay closed. All this within 30 days of purchase.
