Plumbing
Chapman Plumbing was very punctual - showing up just before their 9am promised arrival time. By noon (three hours later!) they had (only) installed the faucet (which we provided) and the sink drain line. They would need to come back after (their 2 hour) lunch to go under the house to connect the new lines to the main. They had not connected the dishwasher because they couldn't get it out from the cabinet "because the new flooring was too high." During their lunch in less than 10 minutes I was able to maneuver it out from the cabinets (without scratching the floor)! It's another 3 hours later (5pm), and they're still here! I've heard more tools banging and more grumbling than I have throughout this entire project! They may be The Home Depot's preferred contractor, but they're definitely not mine! Thank goodness we're not paying them by the hour!
