Very impressed with the service from Overhead Door Company. Gary T. was the service technician. He was was very personable, professional, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service! He was on time, did a thorough review of the system and quickly diagnosed the issue. He replaced all of the necessary components and the system is working great! Additionally, Gary provided tips on keeping the garage door system in good working condition. I highly recommend giving them a call when you’re in need of service on your garage door. Also, the price was reasonable. Overall great service!!

The doors are great quality and the work is good, but the service is awful. Both on the original install and now on a repair it's almost impossible to get anyone to call you back. I had someone out a week ago to quote for repair they said they'd call Friday - no call, I called back Monday - they'd call back (no call), ditto Tuesday, Weds and tried again today. I would have picked a different installer if I had known this would be an issue

Outstanding. Same day service. Andre was awesome --professional, courteous, really knew his stuff. He explained everything, showed me how everything worked, did troubleshooting with the manufacturer, thoroughly tested the new unit, oiled the hinges, & gave suggestions for ongoing maintenance. It was the BEST experience! Couldn't ask for more.

Tech showed up replaced a wire and rebolted some loose bolts. Less than 1 hour, charged $129.00 customer service called me later. He reduced the price to $80.00 i'm satisfied with the company.

Sam arrived on time, and did a great job. He took the time to explain what was wrong...why my garage door wasn't working...and showed me exactly what the problem was. I needed an new opener. Since mine was very old, that made perfect sense :-) He took the time to explain my options, and told me the price upfront. Once the new garage door opener was installed, he carefully inspected the entire system. He oiled the opening mechanism made some suggestions for maintenance. Then he took apart and hauled away the old mechanism. In short, Sam is a well-versed professional with a great deal of experience, as, I suspect are the other professionals at Overhead. I was very pleased with the service, and I will use Overhead Doors for any future garage door needs in the future!

Epoxy Flooring Service
We contracted with Overhead Doors to replace our 3 doors. While doing this we mentioned that we would need to get the garage floors refinished before the doors were installed. The service individual (Paul) said that they did floors, as well. Since we'd done business with Overhead Door of Atlanta for probably 30 years, we contracted with them to redo our garage floors, as well. We even went to their offices to select the color and finish the transaction. Never once did ANYONE (Heather) mention that another company would be doing our garage floors. We were very surprised when a different company showed up to do our floors. This is 'bait & switch' as far as I'm concerned. I may have ended up using that same new floor company but I certainly would have done more research and negotiated the price with a new company. When companies subcontract out work, it means that we're not the customer to the new company. Overhead Doors is the customer and the contractor gets paid less for doing our floors. Now, who gets better service??? A customer that deals directly or one that was subcontracted?? I'm beyond furious. If I could give a 'Z' for professionalism, I would.

I am SUPER pleased. My Technician, Spencer Jackson, painstakingly installed my weather stripping I had ordered & I thought he would be through! But NO, there he was oiling all the hinge thingys on the inside of my garage door. People I talk on the phone with cannot believe THAT is my garage door going up & down so quietly now! Then, he asked me if I had another light bulb he would be glad to put it in for me since my other one had gone out a LONG time ago! I got this Company name & info originally from Angie's List. But, now they are MY personal company with a history! One thing I learned, my garage door weighs at least 275 lbs. Ladies we don't have to worry if our power should go out & we can't get out. Just call these nice folks & they will take care of you. Because if you are like me, you cannot handle a 275 lb. garage door with that red thingy that you pull to take it off automatic. NO WAY! Thanks so much for taking such good care of your customers!

Rep came to give price quote and door options. Very nice, easy to understand, and professional. No pressure to upsell and add a new opener, our old one worked fine. Price was inline with others. No significant discounts, so then it really matters that they do a great job and don't waste my time, which is exactly what happened. Completed paperwork without any complications or hidden fees. Worker came out following week to complete the job. I was impressed that one man could do it alone. Took several hours, but he was precise and methodical. He did a fabulous job, cleaned up afterward. He was able to make the door fit flush to the lip of the garage floor and corners, so no gaps for critters to enter. I was really picky about that because that was one of the reasons why we needed a new door.
