The cost to clean 148 feet (their linear estimate) of gutters was $740. In the past, for this residence, I've paid as much as $185 and as low as $79. Obviously, I was flabbergasted at the price.
I also asked for an estimate for gutter covers. The estimate was $1628.
The name of this company is GUARDIAN GUTTER CLEANING. I do not believe that this company's #1 priority or purpose is to clean gutters despite this company's name as it is listed on Angie's List.
The work order form had as its letterhead GUARDIAN CHIMNEY SWEEPS. It was filled out and printed on site which was impressive from a technical standpoint. The form's purpose, however, was for a chimney sweep estimate, not a gutter cleaning estimate.
The truck that arrived had marketing logos, etc. painted on it depicting a chimney sweep service along with a photo of the company's owner, Dean Joiner. Nowhere did I see any indication on the truck that this company provided gutter cleaning services nor gutter servicing.
The appointment was a waste of time for me and for the technician.
Obviously, do not call Guardian Gutter Cleaning to clean your gutters.
