I felt absolutely ignored by this company and have nothing to compliment them about at this time.

These guys did a great job. They have communicated wkth us very well.

We wanted a quote on getting a basement finished. They were knowledge about the various code information. They had suggestions for HVAC improvements. They asked the appropriate questions about what we wanted to do, and how much flexibility we had with the design.

It was just fine. They actually finished early.

I called on a Friday to explain the work I needed done and to schedule an appointment. I left a voice mail which was promptly answered the next morning. (I was at first, impressed that Mr. Bishop would return a call on Sat. morning.) I briefly explained the work I needed done and he asked me when it would be convenient for me to have him come over to give me an estimate. I explained that I would like the work done as soon as possible but I understood he was probably very busy so I was agreeable to schedule an appointment that would be convenient for HIM. We agreed on a date and time but he never showed up! After waiting 30 minutes after the agreed upon time, I called his office, explained I understood if he was delayed but since I had a medical appt. later that afternoon, I needed to know when he would be here. The receptionist said she would page him and give him the message. A half an hour after that, I called again, restated my concern and asked it he just wanted to reschedule if he was unable to keep his appt. with me for that day. Again I was told they would page him and give him the message. It is now a month later and he still has not returned my calls nor has he called to apologize or explain his lack of professionalism. Very disappointed as he was local and I prefer to deal with local tradesmen. Will never call his company again nor will I ever recommend him to anyone.

He was wonderful. He knew what he was doing. Very efficient and took the time to explain options that might work for us.

I chose Richard Bishop to remodel my kitchen because of a previous flawless (Yes, "flawless", as unbelievable as it sounds.) experience with him and his crew building an addition to my home. Richard was completely honest and dependable with a great depth of expertise in all areas of remodeling. The quality of the workmanship and materials used exceded my expectations.

It started out well - Richard was very responsive in setting up an appointment and showing up on time. He spent adequate time talking over the project with me including finishes, the level of quality of his sub-contractors, etc. I was told it would take about 1 1/2 weeks to get back with a quote which was completely expected... Then, I didn't hear from him for almost 3 weeks as he did not respond to my emails. When I finally contacted him through his office he explained that he had been sick for an extended period of time and that is why I didn't hear from him. (Could someone in the office not have read his emails and given me a heads-up if that was the case?) He said I should expect a quote in the next few days. Instead of a quote I got an email saying he had just gotten a couple of 'big jobs' and didn't have time for my job. After further probing I got what his quote would have been ($$$ - he said that he wouldn't be the cheapest nor the most expensive, but I have to believe he is closer to expensive) and a recommendation of another company that might be able to fit in my 'small' job. From reading other reviews my expectations were definitely higher than what actually occurred. Oh well.

They were going to get back to me with all the specifics. I thoroughly enjoyed the interaction. They were on time and they knew what they were doing.

They did an amazing job on our basement, it is beautiful! It was done on time and all of the workers that came over were nice and they were all very professional. I would recommend them to anyone.

The chief contractor, Richard Bishop, was very much "hands on". He was always punctual for appointments and in response to phone calls and his recommendations clearly enhanced the final outcome of the project. His subcontractors were also very professional and kept the work space clean and the exterior site neighbor friendly. The only cost over-runs in this project were due to unanticipated construction obstacles or from design upgrades that we selected. Overall we were delighted and would use this company again without hesitation. In fact, we have already recommended Rich for one of our neighbor's projects.

Great experience done by professionals. It is not Walmart pricing, but we got what we paid for. Except for one minor holdup due to a finish problem on one of the cabinets, everything was smooth and efficient. All of the workers came on time or early, and they worked hard until they got it right. Cabinets, granite and backsplash are beautiful and great quality. Price does not include appliances, but we also got outstanding deals on them through Rich at a local retailer. We highly recommend Rich and will call him for our next job.

Rich and his crew did a great job with our porch, from start to finish. We were actually out of the country during the first week of the project and came home to find the project well underway. His crew graded and poured the patio and porch floors, and had beams and rafters up within a week. While we were away on vacation, Rich would email us with updates and decisions for us to make. We had originally only planned to have one ceiling fan, but as the work progressed, Rich recommended we put up two ceiling fans, a recommendation we were very thankful for this summer! Rich stayed actively involved throughout the whole process, lasting about 3 weeks. He routinely came over in the evenings to inspect the work and keep us updated on the project and when to expect workers to be at our house. Rich built our screened window openings the same size as a regular window so if we ever decide to make the porch into an enclosed family room, we won't have to embark on any new construction. At the completion of the project, Rich graded and landscaped our yard for free, since we were an Angie's List customer. We would recommend Rich to anyone looking for a quality home improvement project at an honest and reasonable price from a true professional. We originally sought price quotes from 2 other reputable builders in our area, but none could compare with Rich's price and product.

This was a great experience for us. Creative Design did everything we asked for and more. Rich Bishop pulled the permits and would have gotten the project done way ahead of schedule if my husband and I hadn't made changes along the way. He helped us way beyond this project. Our air conditioning unit died; and our neighbor's tree fell on our property, taking out all our utility lines and damaging our roof. He took care of everything within days. The bathroom looks amazing and for the first time, I have a huge walk in closet and we love it!

Rich and his team were fabulous. This was the best experience that I have had with any type of work done on my home in all the 14 years that I have lived in Atlanta. The quality of the workmanship was very high with lots of attention to detail. Rich s crew is very polite and I felt completely comfortable leaving them in my house alone. Rich was involved in every aspect of the job and checked in with me daily - he was always available to consult on the design and material choices. Best of all, when I called him he always got back to me within the hour - often within minutes. His number one priority seems to be making his customers happy.

The job was done satisfactorily and in timely manner. Also new ideas were given to us that we hadn't thought of and greatly improved the overall quality of the job. We highly recommend Creative Designs to do your job. Very thorough and professional. Workers are very trustworthy and clean up after themselves. When contractor said workers would be here, they were here.

They come highly recommended. Nothing was too hard and anything was accomplishable, and they had great ideas as well. Anytime I called the phone was always answered (which is very important to me), and if not, he called me back within an hour. His team were tidy, polite and trustworthy enough to leave alone in the house. Even our dog got special attention and extra pats! Anytime we had any issues, Richard was willing and able to clear things up quickly. The workmanship was of high quality, and built to last. Our job was started and completed on time which was very important for us as my Mother was coming to stay in the guest suit the week after the completion date and as we both work from home we needed our office to function properly. We will be remodeling our kitchen and great room next year and intend to use this company again.

I have to say that since moving to a 20+ year old home 8 years ago, I've spent hundreds of thousands of dollars remodeling, redoing etc. Rich and his team are by far the easiest contractors I've ever worked with. He would lay out what he wanted to accomplish in a given time frame, and 9 out of 10 times it was completed as promised when promised. Rich has an attention to detail that I admire. He wasn't satisfied until I was satisfied. By the end of the project, with all of the little add ons that you come to expect as a project of this magnitude evolves, I was pleased that he didn't try to gouge me on the back end. I felt the charges rendered were fair. He isn't the cheapest but you definitely in this case get what you pay for.

Very pleased with work. Richard was very responsive, subcontractors were very professional, work site was clean and orderly. Unit was constructed off-site and then installed over a two-day period. Everyone worked diligently to make sure details were addressed such as maintaining the specific paint color and not damaging the existing crown molding. Richard has been helpful with calls and follow up visits in order to handle minor needs.

The overall work was excellent! The price was extremely reasonable, and the work was finished on time. All who worked on the project were professional and responsible. All aspects of the project was handled; we were given choices of carpet, paint, and floor samples. Nothing was left to chance - it was very organized. We will recommend Creative Design to others and would do business with again!
