I felt that the amount spent field would put this service person at a competitive disadadvantage because I know that he negotiated in our favor, so I have rounded up to the nearest thousand. I do not want others to be unduly expectant of what their own jobs may cost.
I asked the Danforth team of tree specialist to provide a bid on work required following severe storms in metro Atlanta. The storm left a very tall tree on our property precariously perched and in danger of damaging at least one neighbor's property. I spoke first with associates Tina and Drew to get the ball rolling. Subsequently, Philip Danforth, the owner, came out and submitted a 30 day writing quote as an extremely competitive bid, explained some precautionary meaures we should take as homeowners, and assessed  prioritization for current and future recommendations for tree removal. Danforth was the 2nd of 4 bids and I knew before the bidding process that his company was the one we would use because I was impressed with Philip's business sense, demeanor, and knowledge.
Philip and Drew came out to do the job once my other bids were in-5 days out from the date of Danforth's bid. The job consisted of the very dangerously situated felled pine, another tall pine located very close to our house, and a smaller dead and broken pine next to a neighbor's fence. The team used a bucket truck, bobcat, and two hauling beds for the job. The debris was hauled away. I did not request stump grinding but I know that it is available.
The work was masterfully done; the men were professional and courteous at all times; and our family is duly impressed and looking forward to spreading the good news of our excellent find!

They grind the stumps if you request.  I didn’t ask for the stumps to be ground.  They were pretty professional.
