He took my money ($350)and never returned. He made up several excuses that he was backlogged & then when I asked for a refund, he said he would return it, but never did. This person/company is a scam.

On March 9th, I made an inquiry on Home Advisor and Stewart Contracting reached out. I made an appointment for Mr. Stewart to come to my home at 5pm the same day. Mr. Stewart arrived at 5 and everything seemed to be fine. He explained what the cost would be to fix the EOC on my stove and told me that I would have to pay for the piece up front because it had to be ordered. I payed Mr. Stewart $400.00. He stated that he would be back in about 3 days with the EOC to complete the repair. It has been 35 days and I haven't hard back. My stove still doesn't work and I'm out of $400.00. I've called multiple times and sent texts to no avail. Now, when I call it says that the phone has been turned off. This has been one of the worse experiences with hiring someone off of HomeAdvisor. I would highly suggest looking somewhere else if you need any type of repair.
