"We did not work for Member [removed member name], nor do we know who she is, but I am able to connect her comments on Angieslist to Homeowner [removed another member name] as she hired us, approved the work and costing and paid the invoice. Here's the details. We cleaned out this pond and placed the leaves taken out of the pond where we were instructed by the homeowner to place them. Over the fence onto a vacant lot and along the fence-line. I think the homeowner was shocked at the amount of dirt and leaves that we were able to remove and thus she did not expect so much debris. The original work was for a cost of $600.00 but the work expanded to $2000.00. Before the work was done, the homeowner gave her permission to proceed with the $2000.00 job. We did what was asked, covered the costing before the work was done, was given the go-ahead at $2000. On the day of completion, the homeowner was given our invoice in the amount of $2000.00 and gave us her credit card number to pay that invoice. We got approval for the $2000.00 project, did that project, and the homeowner paid $2000.00 upon completion of the work."
