I went to the showroom several times picking out styles, woods and finishes. The selection was the best I had seen at an unfinished furniture store before. Prices were reasonable and were in line with the quality. The staff were very helpful in answering any questions I had. They know the craftsmen that make each piece which helped to give insight into the pieces. The items were finished on time (4-12 weeks depending on the piece) and are stunning. The craftsmanship on my pieces are amazing. Everything is even better than I had hoped for.
I have sworn off traditional furniture stores for wooden furniture, these guys are the best and the quality cannot be beat. (An independent furniture restorer saw my dining chairs and gushed over the quality. He said that they should easily last over a hundred years!)

We visited the showroom on Dawson Blvd. twice before placing our order. Every single person we encountered was friendly and helpful, but they didn't hover over us nor pressure us to buy. Once we'd decided on the pieces that most interested us, they worked with us to define the EXACT items we wanted. The choices are almost so huge as to be paralyzing: choose your wood, perhaps another wood as an inlay or as separate portions of a piece (e.g., different top than legs on a desk), size, number of drawers, stain, etc. They are very clear that you are ordering custom furniture that will be crafted to your specs, so the lead time is 2-4 months, with 3 months being an average time till delivery. In our case, the items were ordered 3-29 and we received a call that they'd been delivered on 7-2, so almost exactly 3 mos. I suppose this might've caused some reviewers to say that their and quot;punctualityand quot; wasn't great, but they set and met our expectations, so a 3-mo. turnaround is an and quot;Aand quot; to me. A deposit of +/- 50% is required up-front, with balance due at delivery.
We rented a U-Haul trailer and picked up our new furniture this morning. We were greeted very promptly, escorted into the back workshop to view and approve the pieces, then completed our payment and moved around to load everything up. Before loading, they made sure we knew how to operate the clip system to remove the drawers on our dresser, since it would be TERRIBLY heavy to move with drawers installed. They helped us pad and secure the 3 pieces and sent us on our way after a 100% positive buying experience.
Without question, we will be back to purchase again at Wood-N-Choices. We are entering the life stage where children are moving out and taking older furniture with them, leaving us needing replacements. Because we expect that the items we're buying now will not be replaced, we want to purchase QUALITY, solid items that will last our lifetime and still look good/be functional. If you want similar quality and are willing to wait several weeks to obtain EXACTLY what you want, then give them a chance. We're sure you will not be disappointed when your beautiful, custom items come in.
