Trotter may not be the cheapest option in town, but they are honest, reliable, and efficient. They got the job done in the promised timeframe, left the job site—my basement and yard—clean, and even proposed a change to the original plan when the pre-work inspector determined that a less aggressive, cheaper approach would work. It’s rare to find a business that has been around for decades with a stellar reputation, but Trotter does not cut corners and they stand by their work, which is why they continue to be highly regarded by customers. Their office staff is also professional and courteous (Jenny in particular has been great for follow-ups). I can’t recommend this company enough.

Trotter showed up on time with a full and knowledgeable crew and did the job quickly and cleanly. The crew chief waited until I came home so I could pay by check and avoid credit card fees.

I am not sure about the pricing. I think they may be a little on the high side but I feel like it is worth it. The quality is quite high. Responsiveness and punctuality is very good. I like these guys. The work was top rate. Very clean job site. The workers were professional and courteous.
