Tom Peters was an excellent inspector. He was very thorough; he took the time to look in all the nooks and crannies, even when it meant crawling into some tight corners. He was extremely knowledgeable, much more so than any other home inspector I've ever hired (surely from his long history in home building). Since we're thinking of renovating this house, it was especially good for us to have an inspector willing to talk to us about the feasibility of various construction options. Tom was happy to explain everything he was doing. His report was very well-organized and included a full description of all issues that needed to be addressed, but it did not include complete notes on everything that he observed. Overall, Tom Peters was great.

Tom was on time, professional, and thorough. He patiently answered all my questions as I accompanied him on the inspection. He very willingly returned the following day when it was discovered that our attic furnace unit was not heating properly. It turned out that this was not something caused by the inspection process, but he was able to fix the problem temporarily; then put us in touch with a heating/AC company which did a terrific job solving our issue.

Trying to schedule with Tom was a bit of a challenge. He said he was switching his cell phone/carrier and that may have been the issue. Not only was it difficult to get him to confirm that he would be coming on the first date we talked about, I needed to change the day and wasn't sure if he could make the change. Once we settled the schedule issue, everything went just fine.

I was very pleased with Tom's service. He was very thorough and knowledgeable and found a number of items that we weren't aware of including several wiring issues. He also passed on some maintenance tips and general information about home building.

Tom is nice, professional and easy to work with. We were very pleased with his performance. Only I wish if the written report is itemised and categorized like a check list, then it will be easier for me to review.

Mr. Peters was very knowledgeable in his profession. He even pointed out things that were minor, to be sure he was telling me everything. In addition, he answered questions over the phone once I received the written report by email. He is one of the best Home Inspectors I have had in years. I highly recommend him and his company.

TOM WAS RESPONSIVE AND OBTAINED A DETAILED HISTORY WHEN I CALLED HIM. HE CAME PROMPTLY, AS SCHEDULED, AND WAS PROFESSIONAL AND THOROUGH. HE PROVIDED US WITH A DETAILED, EASY TO UNDERSTAND REPORT, ACCOMPANIED BY PHOTOS AND CLEAR RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FOLLOWUP. TOM ALSO WENT THE EXTRA MILE IN RESPONDING TO QUESTIONS I HAD AFTER HE COMPLETED THE INSPECTION AND REPORT. PRICING WAS REASONABLE AND RIGHT AT THE ESTIMATE TOM PROVIDED BEFORE STARTING THE WORK.
