Cleaning Authority ?
Donna Cosola, owner,
Friday, July 25, 2014 The cleaning Authority personnel was scheduled to clean my residence: 6405 Barwick Lane, Duluth, Georgia 30097.
During this time according to the help the downstairs powder room toilet was backed-up. No one bothered to call to let my husband and I know of the problem; but left a note? the toilet in the powder room is leaking at the base. May need a new seal. It won?t flush. When we arrived home and read the note found the toilet was filled to the brim with filthy dirty water; looked like dirty water that had been poured into the commode after mopping and cleaning our floors. Water must have over flowed because water covered the entire powder room including part of the hall way. The girls could have turned the water off and called me.
I called the Pink Plumber; on arrival found the toilet to be jammed with something which could not be retrieved; therefore caused the purchase of another toilet. My cost was $790.00. I texted Ms. Donna Cosola I think on Sunday describing the problem with no response. I asked in a polite manner how was this problem going to be handled in a professional manner? Monday, July 28, 2014 8:04 a.m. I called Ms. Cosola, no answer. Ms. Cosola returned my call later that morning to discuss the problem. I told her then; Jack my husband had used the toilet (urinated) before leaving the house. The toilet was operable; no problems. I felt and so did the plumber something was poured into the toilet. Ms. Cosola said she would talk with the help and could she call me back later. I said yes.
Today, Thursday July 31, 2014 I had not heard from Ms. Cosola. I called the office to speak with her and was told she; Ms. Cosola would not be back into the office until Friday. Instead I spoke with a quality management attendant who said she was at my home the day in question. Erica, the worker told the manager she was not feeling well and went to the bathroom. After doing whatever she then tells her co-worker the toilet she was having difficulty with the toilet. Then I was told when the girls came into my home the water was running. Jack and I always listen for water before closing a door to leave the premises. Jack said the toilet flushed and nothing was out of the ordinary. The manager also stated when a bill is that high the company needs to be notified before I accept the charges. Jack my husband is on oxygen; he will only go upstairs once a day for bed and down once a day for daily activity. I needed a toilet that day; no other decision needed to be made. I informed the manager I needed to hear from Ms. Cosola or my attorney will get involved. She said she would leave a message.
Donna called and I reminded her of our conversation on Monday 28th; she said "she had not been in office for 2 weeks and this was the first time she had ever talked with me. She talked to me like I was stupid. I know who I talked with; I even developed this page on my Microsoft word describing this entire incident. Ms. Cosola said ? she had spoken to her insurance company and because we no proof of how the object got into the toilet the claim was invalid. I asked her ? is this the way you treat your customer?s and are you telling me there will be no compensation at all. Of course Ms. Cosola said no compensation.
She will not take any responsibility for her own company and frankly, I was disappointed in her attitude. I am surprised she has customers left. As of today, I have notified her company that I will no longer be a customer of hers. As far as a rating for her as an owner; with kind attitude I will give her a D-.
I do not complain and am very easy to please, but these people did a poor job. I even got out the vacuum and dusted before my husband came home so he would not be so upset. When I requested a re-clean of the areas that were the worst I was not expecting to be home. However the ladies were late showing up and I was outside with the dogs when they got here. Clearly they did not expect me to be home because when I came in through the basement I overheard them saying ugly and insulting things about me and my husband. Never in a million years would I recommend this company to my worst enemy and I am sick about the money I spent with them.
