Tara and her team were absolutely FABULOUS. Initially, we had started with the mortgage division of our bank -- and we had a really bad experience. Frustrated and unsure where to turn, we considered abandoning the home-buying process. However -- this stressful situation was a blessing in disguise, because it led us to Tara and her team! As you may know, obtaining a mortgage nowadays can be difficult and stressful, particularly because of all of the required documentation. Tara truly tries to make the entire process as painless as possible. Beyond that, she helps clarify expectations from the being by making sure there are no unpleasant surprises (even things as simple as escrow or the expected closing costs). Throughout the entire process, Tara was responsive, thorough, and went out of her way to make things easier on us. She also answered all of our questions (and we had a lot!) -- even if we reached out to her outside of normal business hours. With one of us about to finish an MBA and start working, we had a and quot;non-traditionaland quot; situation for a mortgage application, and Tara consistently went above and beyond for us. She and her team were also great about keeping everyone updated at every step of the way. This helped us immensely because we were able to keep track of everything -- as was the seller and both real estate agents. Using Tara and Fairway Independent Mortgage was one of our BEST decisions in the entire home-buying process! We would absolutely recommend her and would use her again in a heartbeat.
