I found DeShawn several years ago when I needed to update a mobile alarm that I wanted to communicate with my warehouse alarm system. I had a system that was built for me on a custom basis and it involved a few elaborately wired boxes that allowed my vehicle alarms to communicate with my warehouse alarm. This was very effective for me because those strobe lights and that piercing siren that can be heard for miles are rather effective in scaring away a person or persons that are up to no good. DeShawn was able to come in, listen to my stated need and devise a mobile connection that accomplished the exact same task WITHOUT the complicated box. We even detailed the process so it could be duplicated on another vehicle. I was impressed by his dedication, his determination and his overall skill and ability. I then gave him my warehouse monitoring and my home monitoring. We have added services at my house, and we have updated services at my house. The most recent addition was a control panel upgrade that facilitated a transition to cellular service. I consider the cellular service to be invaluable. I get instant text alerts for any "event" that I choose. I know if there is an issue as soon as the monitoring company knows. I do not have to wait for a phone call. I have also used DeShawn for a commercial subdivision project that I oversaw. He installed a complete video monitoring system and saved the HOA quite a bit of money compared to contractor quotations for essentially the same system. DeShawn has been to my home many times and I am completely comfortable with him. I trust him to not only do things the right way, but to do them with integrity as well. One of the things that I like most about him is his incessant frugality. He is always looking to spend the lowest amount of money possible for equipment and that saves everybody money. And I do not mean that he buys cheap equipment. He does not. He just HATES to overspend for anything and will do almost anything to save money on the equipment that he buys and installs for his customers. I would find it very difficult to find a way to give anyone a higher recommendation that I would give DeShawn and Smart Shield.

The installation went well. I am able to see and hear everything I need to at my home and business. The picture is very clear. My concerns were all addressed thoroughly.
