UPDATE: I took down this review after Elena Kim contacted me with false hope that she would help me if I removed my bad reviews of her. As soon as I told her that I had gone on disability and was now on medicaid, however, she immediately stopped contacting me. So I am putting the reviews back up. DO NOT GO TO THIS THERAPIST if you value your sanity. She will gaslight you and she is a narcissistic manipulator. This practice is a disgrace to psychotherapy. So far I'm disappointed in how they're enabling my family to continue victim blaming me. Like most narcissists posing as help, if you complain about their style they will just threaten you with abandonment, all your hard work and your pain opening up to them counted for nothing. UPDATE: I came here for family therapy, and after two months of work, I only met with my family twice, and now I've had to fire my therapist for refusing to advocate for me in these sessions the way she promised to. I asked for weekly family sessions and was told to wait a month. It's unreasonable and it's counter-productive. The therapist, Darrin, enables the abuse and the abandonment of the disabled. After two months of trying to explain to these people that my family abuses me over my disability by refusing to acknowledge it, they have quit working with me altogether, but continue working with my parents to enable them to treat me like I'm toxic waste and not a person. If it were possible to give a review for negative stars I would. Don't waste your breath on Elena Kim or Darrin Bronfman unless you're a psychotic Baby boomer looking for validation while you desert your traumatized, mutilated, half-murdered millennial child.

They are very friendly and community oriented. They are very experienced and passionate. They care about all of your problems and issues and they try to work them out with you. They are very available for you and they also have Saturday appointments.

My therapist is Diana Woodruff, PhD.. She is a wonderful, gentle therapist who is extremely wise and knowledgeable. She is not afraid to be assertive and let me know if my thinking is not making sense. She is welcoming and punctual. Diana is one of the founders of Pathway Center for Psychotherapy. I feel most fortunate to work with her although I have worked with several other therapists in the group setting and I would say the same for them. I also work with Susan Bower MD who is a psychiatrist and has been an excellent addition to my mental health support team. Thank you.

My appointments with Dr. Bower always have gone well because she takes the time to work with me as an individual, assess my needs and the effectiveness of my medication each time I see her.  If I feel something needs to be changed or my medicine needs to be titrated to a higher or lower level, we both discuss the positive and negative aspects of doing so.  She welcomes me to her office and always makes me feels comfortable.  She knows my name.  If a patient needs more time with her because of an emergency etc. and she is running late, I do not feel upset by this because I know she has done the same for me when I was having major difficulties.  I know she tries very hard to maintain a schedule, but because of individual patients needs, she is sometimes behind schedule.  For that reason I put down a "B' for punctuality.  Dr. Bower is always gracious and caring and I feel very fortunate to have found her. Thank you.

He explained everything and was very patient. He answered all my questions before he did the surgery. I have been to see him after the surgery. He also did my colonoscopy several days before my hernia surgery.
