MLC CONSTRUCTION

The "4 day project" is still not complete 5 months later, but we have washed our hands of them and reversed some charges. They were unprofessional, untimely and money-driven. Our shower floor was sloppily tiled by a 14 year old who came along to the job. When his father "fixed" it, he simply laid another layer of sloppy tile on top, which also had to be replaced; the 3rd time wasn't great either (uneven tile, sloppy grout). They were involved in a "financial situation" and promptly dragged us into the mess, saying they weren't able to pay for their own raw materials (we had to take them shopping). When a partial payment was due, the gen. contractor called at 10pm saying his financial partner was a crook and he would have him arrested if we paid him as originally planned. When I was out of town, they brought 2 little kids with them who climbed on our furniture while the mom guilted my wife into helping babysit. On several occasions, they insisted on working until after 11pm.
