We hired LG Home Improvement for a mudroom addition in late 2021. Luis is one of the most thorough contractors I've worked with and confirms everything with you to ensure everything meets your expectations. Fast to respond via calls/texts and his crew was always working hard while onsite. We will be hiring LG for a few more projects next year as well based on the professional quality they provided.

LG Hardwood Floors LLC also doing business as LG Home Improvements. Look them up on the Secretary of State web site for the owners name. And he uses an address online that is to a store, not his real address. There is no business in his name at that address on the Sec of State site. He purposely misleads people. And his positive reviews on Home Advisors, Angie's List are fictitious. I no longer trust either. See the BBB. My floors have to be fully redone!! The ruined my floors, left swirl marks from the buffer that show where they stopped and started, damaged the wood work, and broke the range oven door when Luis G yanked on it to pull it out. He paid for the repair of the stove door hinge, but refused to refund my 50% deposit. The sander left the floors uneven - the floors had not been refinished before. I fired them in the middle of the job because of all the damage, incompetence, horrible work, and atrocious customer service. He only purchased 5 gal of polyurethane to apply 3 coats of poly on 1600 sq feet of floors. He refused to move the appliances out of the kitchen to finish the floors behind and under the stove and refrig. He left small pools of poly that dried on the floors where the applicator stopped/started. Luis is unprofessional, and dishonest. He kept telling me he is a "nice person". He is NOT!! Then Eduardo texted me several times demanding more money. Luis told him that I had not paid anything. So he is dishonest with his workers too. I wish I had not paid anything - I want a full refund plus damages. DO NOT HIRE!! NOT EVER, NOT FOR ANYTHING. They only want money for doing a bad job. Luis and Eduardo are fully incompetent in refinishing of floors.

Luis and his crew are amazing! We hired them after getting a quote for hardwood floors and staining, painting of multiple rooms, as well as drywall in multiple spaces. His quote was spot on to what we were expecting to spend. He gave us recommendations for paint colors as well as ideas for the rooms (goodbye crown molding). His crew has been awesome! They show up when they say they will and work hard all day (with a lunch break of course!). I love how they play 80s music and are so professional and kind. Luis has stopped by to check on the work and well as to speak to us throughout the process to make sure we are happy. I cannot wait until the work is done. Then I can hire them for some additional jobs to do too!

Luis originally came out to give me an estimate on floor & wall tile in 2 bathrooms. In addition to the bathrooms, LG ended up doing new siding & windows, new wood laminate & carpet flooring, new kitchen cabinets and backsplash, as well as drywall repair and fresh paint to help finish up our remodel. Luis was great about keeping the work within our budget and overall pretty responsive throughout the 5 months our remodel project ended up taking.

Luis got my new floors in quickly and for a great price

Note this was for a complete bathroom remodel, replacing carpet with hardwood on my stairs AND replacing the flooring in my master suite. Luis was the consummate professional. This was the first time I had any major work done on a home and he responded promptly to all my questions. Additionally, he has responded to all questions I have had AFTER I paid him. I have recommended him to all my friends that have admired the work.

They are very hard-working and dedicated to their profession. Two thunbs up to those guy.

I was mostly in contact with Luis, He is a man of his word. He listened, made great recommendations and supervised the work. I will use this company again and highly recommend them.
