Leisure Lawn Inc

We had a horrific experience with Leisure Lawn in the summer of 2009. They solicited our business that summer and we agreed. We changed our mind and cancelled, but they still erroneously sent out an agent to apply a yard treatment. I called and reminded them we cancelled the service, but they continued to try and bill us for the service. I was reassured on repeated phone calls that they would clear up the situation, but I continued to receive bills for the erroneous yard treatment. Eventually, a collection agency started to contact us for the $30. I didn't want to pay on principle, but eventually ended the hassle and sent a $30 check.

Because of their poor responsiveness, I switched to another company.

They are very punctual and send me a post card letting me know the date that they are going to come. They are professional and responsive. The quality of their work is very good and I have been satisfied with their service.

I think that they do a pretty good job. They come out when I make a complaint about weeds, and my lawn looks good. They are a bit expensive but I don't think that they are much more than anyone else. I plan on using them for awhile.

The very first treatment went fine and as scheduled. Each treatment was to be approximately 40 dollars. After the initial treatment, I was so pleased I referred a friend, for which I was to receive a referral fee. Not only did I not receive the fee, they charged my friend much less per treatment for a larger yard. When I called, they said there was nothing they could do for me, but agreed to credit my account for the referral. I continued to have billing problems and scheduling problems, more often then not the entire yard was not treated. I was told they were a small company and were having personnel issues. They came out when I was not at home and applied lime to the yard without my consent and charged me an additional fee. My calls on this went unreturned. I would not recommend this company, they do not provide what they say they will and are very unprofessional.

I have used this company for some time and am very pleased with the results of the treatment they provide to my yard. I am on a yearly contract with them and pay monthly payments on the contract. My yard always looks very nice and I would certainly recommend their services.

In regards to the weed/fertilizer plan, we have many more weeds than we started with when they were hired. We keep being told they will go away in 3 weeks or so. That has been for the past 1 1/2 years. They often/usually only treat 1/2 our backyard, even though they have been told where the property line is many times. We call for retreats and they only sometimes show up to do that. I wrote a letter voicing our concerns and asking for a meeting. Never heard 1 word. As far as the aeration, we scheduled them to come after a vacation we were on so we would be home. We were to mark our sprinkler heads. We planned on doing that when we got home, before they were scheduled to come. They came while we were gone and did it breaking 3 of the heads in the process! Then it was a HUGE fight to even get them to pay, even though they could tell that someone had done the job early. Overall, we have been very frustrated with the service they have provided.

I experienced some lawn treatments not being completed as per contract (back yard was not treated at all on one of the visits). I had to get a supervisor to agree to re-treat on a number of occasions and was told they had a personnel issue that they were resolving on that route. Overall, I was not satisfied with this service and have terminated my contract with them.

SO FAR WE HAVE BEEN SATISFIED, PRETTY MUCH, THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO GIVE A CALL BEFORE THEY COME OUT. SOMETIMES THEY FAIL TO DO THIS.
