GREG KEY HEATING & AIR SERVICE

I have known Greg for about two decades. He was always pretty good about servicing my various AC units at several different houses through the years. A couple of years ago I had a NEW unit installed at my lake property. It has never worked properly. It freezes up several times every summer preventing us from using our lake property during the summer. I called Greg again about the issue a few weeks ago when I arrived at the lake with yet another frozen AC unit. He took my call even though he was out of town on vacation. He asked some questions, offered some possible solutions and asked that I call him when he returned on 7/20/18. I have called him numerous times then and since and had ZERO response. I cannot in good conscience go about my day without sharing this as it is very sad to me that even after knowing someone for this length of time they are leaving me with a rather expensive new unit that he installed and has yet to work through just one summer. All the wasted days of not being at our vacation property are just too sad.

Our A/C unit stopped cooling on Memorial Day weekend as we were planning to have 6 kids spend the night with our girls. It was a hot weekend and running fans didn't help at all. I called Greg thinking I'd leave a message and hope for help by Mon or Tues and he answered the call himself and said, "I'll be over in 20 mins." WOW! He came when he said and, while he could have easily sold us on a huge repair, searched out the problem and repaired the fan and a couple of other items and had the unit up and running an hour later. Greg is owner/operator of his business and I liked working with a small company with great customer service. I thought if I was lucky enough to get someone on a holiday weekend the trip charge would be triple but Greg was very fair. I recommend him highly.

Greg has done work for us for years. He is always very professional and will come out on short notice. When our AC went out last year he came right over and fixed the problem for a lot less money than I expected (it was a simple leak-I thought we'd have to replace the whole unit!).

EXCELLENT! GREG KEY IS A FIRST-CLASS GUY. HE IS HONEST AND RELIABLE. WE HAVE USED HIM FOR 5 YEARS. DURING THE TIME OF THIS MOST RECENT JOB, I WAS EXPECTING OUR FIRST CHILD. WHEN GREG WAS LATE ARRIVING, DUE TO A DELAY AT ANOTHER JOB, GREG WAS SO CONCERNED THAT HE EVEN OFFERED TO PUT US UP IN A HOTEL UNTIL HE COULD REPAIR THE A/C. WE DID NOT ACCEPT THAT OFFER -- NEVERTHELESS, HE REFUSED TO ACCEPT PAYMENT FOR THE REPAIR. HE IS ABSOLUTELY RELIABLE AND TRUSTWORTHY, REALLY A GREAT GUY. WE ARE HAPPY TO RECOMMEND HIM.
