Wonderfully.  Berkeley Woodworking is the kitchen contractor you want.  In an age where customer service is rare, if not impossible to find, these guys are a class act.  They are the standard.  This is not an exaggeration.  This is the testimony of a customer that witnessed first-hand the true passion, experience, creativity, ambition and obsessive attention to detail that is Berkeley Woodworking.  We bought a home that needed a bigger kitchen, but there were not a lot of options to expand. Berkeley Woodworking was able to envision other areas from which to squeeze space and incorporate into the kitchen and opened the entire home into a high-end, beautiful space.  It was a superb renovation and superb cabinet design.   They went above and beyond in every aspect.  Everyone was very professional and very friendly.  We would love to have them back someday on another project.

He has a crew.  They are so good at what they do.

It was perfect. The workers were prompt. Everything was done on time. Attention was paid to detail. Richard was easy to work with.

I think we got a GREAT job! Richard and Carmen Webb were wonderful guides for us throughout this extensive and expensive project. We signed off on all the design blueprints before work was started, everything was in writing, and invoices were presented as project milestones were achieved. There were no surprises. Richard is an extremely organized individual and his longtime employees reflect that work ethic as well. At the end of every workday, the area was left tidy and swept. Chad, Francisco, and Nino were so easy to have around during the five weeks this project took. They did our tear-out and while the sub-contractors were working, they were building our cabinets at the Berkeley Woodworking warehouse, which they installed most carefully. The critical path was so organized; we knew who and what to expect for every day. Richard was here checking and working on things every day, sometimes several times. He always had every detail in hand. We cannot think of a single thing that was missed.
For a project that was this extensive and this expensive, we are so grateful that we had Berkeley Woodworking do this work because it was a delight to work with them. This was actually our second project with them. A year ago we had them build us a two-basin vanity for our master bath and we were very pleased with that result, so when we decided to gut the kitchen, we knew who to call!
We are pleased to recommend them to everyone who wants a top-drawer job--no pun intended!

We visited the Berkeley Woodworking showroom where we met with Richard and Carmen Webb.

Richard was very helpful as he showed us around the showroom and then explained the entire process which would be followed if we used them for our kitchen remodel.

We agreed to a in home meeting and Richard shared some great ideas about how we could make the most of our kitchen area from the layout to the placement of all of the cabinets. He showed us a reworked island area as well as a change to the other countertop area.

After the home visit, the next step was another visit to the showroom where we were given a solid price for each part of the remodel. At that point, we committed by paying 1500 to have drawings made with the elevations and measurements.
Both Carmen and Richard Webb assisted with the selections of paint, hardware and floor stain color.

We scheduled the work and the floors were put in first. They were finished on site and the work was excellent. Richard took great care to assure that all of our and quot;stuffand quot; was protected during the entire process and that we were inconvenienced as little as possible.
The paint was then done - fabulous. All work was personally supervised by Richard who was at our home nearly every day of construction.
After the cabinet and appliance install, the paint and floors received a final touch up.
The time between demo and finish was 17 weekdays. Richard said we would be in by Thanksgiving and we were in the week before.

We are completely satisfied with the quality of the work as well as the value we received. All of our expectations were met or exceeded. The professionalism and expertise brought to the job by the Webbs was outstanding. You cannot overvalue the experience they have in kitchen design. We have found nothing we would change in terms of the layout or placement of cabinets, drawers or appliances. When our friends and neighbors see the kitchen, they are all complimentary of the work and the beauty of the entire first floor..
I would recommend Berkeley Woodworking to anyone who has kitchen or bathroom remodeling needs. I would tell them they will not find anyone who will exceed Berkeley in the quality work provided.

The work turned out great. They are a very good cabinet company; not the average company. They do absolutely excellent work. I have been dealing with them for a very long time and they are great.

My husband and I hired Richard about 20 years ago to renovate a very poorly designed kitchen. The work was done flawlessly and functioned well. However I decided I wants to update and make use of some of the new products that have been developed in the ensuing years. We called upon Richard and Carmen because we knew their work and dedication to their clients. The entire process was smooth, the updated design, products and workmanship surpassed our expectations.
