Richard is extremely thorough and does an excellent job explaining everything to you. I would 100% recommend him! His report is extremely detailed and he is available to answer any questions you may have. He inspects every inch of the house, top to bottom, inside and out! I have been thru the process of having homes inspected several times over the years. Richard, by far is the best! This was a newly constructed house, yet he spent a good solid 4 hours going thru it top to bottom and producing a very thorough and easy to read report. Richard Dais inspected our prospective home and did a very thorough job. He arrived on-time and made sure every inch inside and outside was checked. He was insistent with the present owners of the home that the basement area was to be maintained closed properly to ensure proper radon readings (part of his thoroughness - radon turned-out to be very high). He took time to explain his findings verbally at the home and in a complete report later. He also took time later to answer questions about the report and help with other questions regarding the home. In summary, he was thorough, was efficient, and went above-and-beyond the call of duty. He gave us information that saved us thousands of dollars with the purchase of the home. I recommend him highly!

Richard is a fantastic home inspector. His home inspection convinced us to NOT purchase a home we had put an offer on. He discovered so many issues with the house that would have saddled us with an incredible amount of burden and cost. At first glance, the house looked like it needed a little work (as expected), but once Richard got in there and did his inspection....wow. We have our eye on another property now and we will 100% be using Richard for the inspection. He scheduled our first inspection promptly, and was on-time, exactly when he said. I 100% recommend him!

It went great. I was very pleased with how detailed the report was and how it was easy to read and understand. He also pointed out to me in person the areas of concern that way I knew exactly what he was talking about or referring to. Very polite and presented himself very professional. I will definitely be calling him in the future to do other inspections.

Work went well, Richard was very thorough and walked me around afterwards to explain his findings. The report was very thorough with photos of each item looked at, plus access to 200 some photos he took that weren't in the formal report. He has been responsive to emails and calls after the fact with additional questions.

Fantastic and thorough job. Took tons of pictures and showed us exactly where the problems lie. This is particularly helpful in the difficult to access places. Found iron pipes in a couple of places under the house, asbestos vent, etc. Gave very good debrief.

Great experience working with Richard at PowerWorks Inspections. He did 2 inspections for me on 2 different houses. Because of his inspection I didn't buy the first house. Some of the items he found I just didn't see. The owners didn't want to fix much so I got out of the contract. The second house also a very thorough inspection and found some things that were pretty minor however will be taken care of. Closing soon. Richard is very professional, clear, and to the point. He answered every question I had and was willing to explain things he found in detail. The report is clear with pictures and really helps paint a picture of the house. I have already referred a friend and will again. Great Job!

Richard is very professional and friendly. At the end of his inspection, he patiently guided me around the house, showed me his findings and answered all my questions. Richard was excellent! He was on time, personable, and dedicated to methodically going after the job. Richard doesn't hold back either expressing his opinion on the big and little stuff with pictures, code references, or otherwise to explain his concerns. His report was informative, easy to read with tons of pictures to back it up. He also provided pictures on google drive so you could download and zoom. Hire this guy!!! I feel like I really understand the state of my potential future home and now its up to me to do something about it.

Richard was great! We needed an inspection for a home we were thinking of purchasing. My husband is in construction so we thought we knew most of the issues with the house but Richard was very thorough and found many things we didn't see. He was on time, spent several hours and then walked us through about an hour at the end. Turn around for the report was super fast and the report was very detailed with pictures. Would definitely recommend!

Richard is fantastic!! I have experienced working with a few inspectors in my past and he is, by far, the best. Richard was thorough, knowledgeable and he offered a far more in depth inspection than I could have imagined. I contacted several other companies before selecting Richard and even those who advertised special technology didn't seem to offer the same thorough service that Richard offered and then provided. Richard was friendly, on time with both his inspection and his report and he taught us a great deal. He was honest and was always available to answer questions before and even after the inspection. He inspected the home as if he was inspecting the home for himself. Richard is top notch! I would recommend him again and again! He was truly a God's send!

Fantastic! He was available on very short notice. He is very knowledgeable and an all around friendly kind of guy. He was completely thorough, and even climbed up on our roof. He took plenty of pictures and gave us a detailed listing of his findings directly to our email immediately after he finished. He went through and explained everything with us over the phone. We will use him again in the future. Very satisfied!!!

First house:
Great inspector. He was very thorough and caught quite a few problems I would never have seen. Avoided a home with potential a/c, roof and wiring issues thanks to PowerWorks. We will definitely use Richard on the next home we make an offer on.
