MID-GEORGIA GARAGE DOORS INC

My teenage daughter ran into my garage door and wrecked it. I called and the company said they'd be there to fix it by 10am the next day. They arrived closer to 11 but I was ok with that. The work was done quickly, efficiently, and correctly for a great price.

I think it went pretty well with Mid-Georgia Garage Doors. The guy was on time, pleasant and I think he did a good job. I think the kind of door I had is much, much older and it's a little more problematic so I think for people with newer doors, it's probably a better fit. I don't have any problem with that. We probably need to find somebody who does older homes more often. It's not because they're bad, my door is heavier, older, the rollers are older and it a different kind and I think they were looking for newer, easier kind of doors.

I called them on 9/9 and scheduled a service call for the next day. The tech was on time, polite, and professional. He indicated that the opener had lost the settings for where to stop when it opened and closed. He also indicated that there had been a lot of problems with this model of opener. After an unsuccessful attempt to reprogram the settings, he recommended that I contact Genie support, since I had only installed the opener a year ago. Since he had been unable to fix the problem, he only charged me the $35 base fee for the service call.
The company that installed the opener came out this morning, and they had the problem fixed within a few minutes. This leads me to believe that the tech from Mid-Georgia was not knowledgeable about this unit. While I'm not terribly impressed by this, the company is clearly reputable in only charging me for the service call and not the actual time spent diagnosing the problem. I would consider using them again.

Made an appointment for a broken spring. They came out within two days of the first call. The arrived on time. Tech was knowledgeable and informative. I had both springs replaced and the door lubricated. Service call included alignment of the door and lubrication. Springs were reasonably priced.

They were on time. They were easy to respond to my inquiry. They were punctual and professional. In fact, they even went an extra step. I had bought a new car and I could not get the car programed to that garage door lifter and he actually did it for me and that was a big help to me. They were just professional. And, he put a sticker on my garage door so if I had any future problems, I will give them a call and I will give them a call without a doubt.

I called Mid-Georgia Garage around 10 a.m and received a quote for the work. I accepted and they told me they could be out around 2pm. The technician called me and told me he could be at my house around 1:30. He was professional and actually told me the springs on the garage door were too small and that he would give me the correct springs. I had him replace both springs.

Very well, he was informative about garage doors, and the work his company has done in the area over the years, we had moved the electronic eye by mistake and he was very honest. Just think, a not so reputable service person could have charged us for an "imaginary" problem, and I would not have even know, I respect their honesty and integrity.

The guy that came out was in a hurry and didn't do as good of a job as I thought he should have. Someone had to come back out to replace a brace that had broken but they did come out the same day I called them on that. The price was a little higher than I thought it should be.
