Plumbing
They rip people off and they just make up their prices as they go. It took about three days before I was able to get in contact with them. They are unreliable and unprofessional. They overcharged me just to come out and look at the problem which was supposed to free.

Plumbing
Well, for one thing, he had the location of our septic tank wrong. The guy that fixed our problem said that any experienced guy should be able to quickly locate where a septic tank was. This guy was way off.
Anyway, we did call the guy he gave us the number for, as our plumbing was backed up and just gross and we wanted to get it fixed. An older lady answered the phone and said she was the guys mother and couldn't say when he'd be home?
We then got in the phone book and called someone close. We noticed in the phone book that Roto-Rooter is supposed to DO septic tank work and mainline work. It's all in their ad.
It seemed to us like he just didn't want to do anything but take the high service charge and leave us with the same problem he got there with.
Luckily we found someone else that could help us right away.

Sewer Cleaning
They went in with a camera and then extricated a root ball. It did not solve the problem I was having with sewage backing up in my sinks and tub. The cost greatly exceeded what was done, in my opinion.

Plumbing
We had tried to unstop this sink ourselves with the help of our neighbor who is a handyman. We had limited success but, where hesitant to call a plumber fearing a huge bill for what seemed a small problem. Finally the septic tank repair man recommeded we call Roto-roooter. They came as scheduled, called when the tech was on his way. The tech Roy was proffesional and explained the problem and fixed it in about an hour. He was carefull not to make a big mess in the house. The price they quoted me w

Plumbing, Drain Cleaning
We had a winter leak issue with our "new" home, and called RR to sort it out for us. The plumber they sent out said we had several leaks under the house, mostly minor but a couple moderately bad ones. He started on the work, when he ran out of supplies he said that he would be back the next day to finish it up. Two or three days later, after a few prodding phone calls I had to make to their office he finally came back to finish. I think in all he was probably there 3 or 4 hours tops, and stated that all leaks were fixed except for a very tiny drip under the toilet. He continued to say that it wasn't serious enough that we'd have to turn the water off at night but that my contractor would have an easier time fixing it since I was having a new toilet put in. A month later, I received a call from the city about how they turned my water off at the meter because it was showing activity while it was obvious that no one was in the house and they thought I should know that I possibly had a large leak causing it and that I had also already racked up a massive water bill for the past month. So, I had my contractor check the plumbing, and guess what? There was a gigantic leak not even 2' from the area the Roto-Rooter plumber had been working. Water was spraying everywhere and it would have been hard to miss. Besides that there was an additional two other leaks in the same general area. My contractor and both of his men stated they have no idea what I paid $950 for, that I was seriously over-charged and that RR didn't complete the job. Even if RR was the only plumber left in my state, I will never use them again and I would highly advise people against using them.
