Came out to do the spring maintenance which I have a contract with them. Unit was working perfect. All of the sudden $1900 worth of work was found. The second unit was deemed in good shape after inspection. Technician came back the following day, replaced the parts and said the unit would have to be replaced. $3200 later I have a new unit. Two months later I called him to come out and redo the maintenance inspection. The technician said the unit had limited time and it would need to be replaced soon. The next morning I noticed the floor controlling the unit he worked on was not cooling at all. I called them to have the technician come back out. The dispatch you talk to the technician the technician said there was nothing else he could do. I was told by the dispatcher they would not send somebody out, but they would be happy to send the sales are about to talk to me about a new unit. I called and had to additional companies come out the same day. They said valves were left open does Freon was leaking out. Exactly why the unit was not cooling. Caps for a valves were found on the ground and not replaced on the valve heads. Companies gave me the same diagnosis. The second company when ahead and fix everything for me so my family and I would have air conditioning. Obviously I had to pay them for their services due to the slack attention to detail done by the Hanson technician. I asked them if they would be kind enough to check the new unit. Glad I did. We found out the PSI levels which should be consistent with fluctuating from 120 to 140. I took video of it actually happening. We also noted that the SC levels were fluctuating 5.2 and 13.3 where it should be stable and not fluctuating. Upon further testing they noticed that there was air in the Freon line. Once again I had to pay them to drain the Freon and put new Freon in in order to stabilize the new 2 month old unit. Both companies also informed me that unit is called Goodman. Without any asking they both told me it was one of the cheapest built units available. I hope everyone takes notice of this. NEVER use Hanson for any air-conditioning work. Guaranteed the unit will be worse than when they got there. They just want to sell new units. When they were strictly Henson they were very good to work with. Since they sold out to this one our company the work has been horrendous and I don't believe a word these people say. Additionally I have had three request for a copy of my receipt from the purchase of the new unit and a copy of the warranty. This is been falling on deaf ears for three weeks now. Nobody seems to want to provide that information to me. They continue to tell me they will get it to me but nothing ever happens.

I brought out another company (Triad Mechanical) to give me a second opinion. They told me it was not fine and that it has been working in emergency heat since it was new. The stick sound is a bad piston and/or bad reversing valve.
Called Henson back and they came over. Now they diagnose it as a bad reverse valve since I called them out on it from Triad.
They had the nerve to try and charge me 247 dollars to fix it. I did not allow them to fix it and I am giving my business to another company
Scott their GM could give a flip about the issue and told me it was his decision because I did not call with a documented heat issue. It does not matter that I mentioned it to their lackluster maintenance guys.
This company stinks and you should not use them!

2 Units at the property.  Provider found nothing wrong with both units, but recommended replacing the thermostat for an additional $180 (unsure whether this was necessary or not)  A week after the inspection, my tenant noticed the downstairs blower wasn't working...
So on 2015-08-29 I sent an HVAC technician from a different company to the property to discover that the Henson technician forgot to reattach the disconnect valve on the lower unit which caused it to stop blowing air.
I contacted Henson mechanical to inform them of this, but they didn't respond.
Poorly performed services and bad customer service on this job

i don't think they found anything.  I don't know if they did what they were suppose to.  I couldn't say good or bad but it didn't seem like  a good company to me.
