When we had the pipe break a month or so later, we called Ed to come out and check out our system to make sure there was no water in it. He inspected the system and gave the okay to use the AC without ducting, to help dry out our basement. He got his team out to our house the next day to replace all the ducting that had been wet, and double checked what remained of the existing ducting. He found some more that was damp and replaced it as well. It was very hot in the house due to the 40 air movers and 15 dehumidifiers that were running to dry out our floors and basement. His team arrived on time, and completed the job within a few hours. They also tightened some other sagging ducts and strapped them up. They added metal ducting at each of the places where new duct joined old, and explained all before and after doing it. They worked in very difficult conditions, did a good job.
A couple of weeks later, we didn't think that the master bedroom was cooling as it should be, so we called Ed. He and his son came out and explained what was going on with the dampers in the system, and told us what settings we should be using in the basement, as that affected how the upstairs was cooled. We have made the adjustments and now are comfortable.
