It was fine. Their price was great, and I was happy with their work. The outside project was not quite done to my satisfaction, but I would consider them in the future.

The whole experience was great. The painters showed up as expected and painted our home in two days. The workers were very professional and considerate. It would have taken us weeks, as we have a small child. We were very happy with the service we received and will use Amazing Walls again in the future.

Well let's see, I found this company while searching Online, and I checked out their website (www.amazingwalls.com, very addictive); anyway, after some time surfing around and looking through all of their work I decided to give them a call. When I called to set up an estimate a very professional lady picked up the phone (forgot her name) and set up an appointment with one of their painters/estimators. Sandy arrived on-time and spent about an hour with me selecting colors, cut-off points and finishes. I couldn't believe the color selections she came up with, I would have never thought of them on my own. After that she gave me an estimate on the spot and was not pushy about it at all. She had also informed us that they had a showroom about 15 minutes away in Yorkville and suggested that I bring my husband along and check it out. We stopped in to their showroom, and I showed my husband our color selections. We loved their showroom and the fact that this was a brick and mortar company. We called to schedule the work a few days later, again a very professional receptionist took the call and confirmed the colors, rooms and start date. The painters arrived as promised on time, went over the job with me and began working immediately. Dave, Shawn and Mario were very clean, respectful and hard working. They protected all the areas they worked in with drop cloths and plastic and cleaned up after themselves. I couldn't believe how fast they were, yet never compromised quality. They finished after only 2 days and left my house "Amazing." They used their own "zero-voc" paint that they manufacture. It looks great and left no nasty fumes behind (actually it kinda smelled like almonds). Thank you Sandy for helping me put the "Wow" factor in selecting colors, and thank you Dave, Shawn and Mario for your hard work and skill.

The overall quality of the painting was satisfactory, but the crew lacked professionalism from the first day, when they arrived two hours late. This company should not have accepted a job in Northbrook if they lack the capacity to staff north suburban jobs. The initial estimate was two weeks at a cost of $9100. Instead, it took three weeks and $12,000. I was told that wallpaper removal and major repairs would be billed at $40/hour. In the first two weeks, more than 50% of the time worked was separately billed as extras. The designer was good, but the painters lacked professionalism. At the outset the job was defined to include painting and hanging new bifold doors, but in the middle of the third week the company told me to get a carpenter. Communication skills are poor at best. Poor scheduling by the painters also ran up my plumbers bill to over $700 as he made 3 trips to accommodate my painters. The painters didn't clean up after themselves and left my wood floors a mess.
