From the initial visit, work was totally coordinated & organized: 1st inspections, participation with insurance adjusters, material selection and job scope, one day removal and re-install, quality work and totally spotless cleanup afterward. Very friendly staff & work crews, customer satisfaction a priority!! Hallmarks of a long standing company I would truly recommend to anyone needing these services.

Price was average price from which all the people were charging the same amount. On quality, the only reason I'd say a B was they used to advertise that they didn't use nail guns to put the shingles on and then they just recently went to using the nail guns and I had found enough nails in my gutters and in my yard after they were done that I could roof another roof myself. That's my biggest complaint against them. Plus they did damage to the brand new gutter I had just put on the house too. So I mean I give them B for quality I guess. They gave me the explanation of why they had to use the nail guns, but I don't know if they were just too rushed doing the work or if they still learning how to use those guns, but I just thought it was an unacceptable amount of loose nails. They're brand new nails. They weren't the nails that came off when they stripped the roof. It was what they were using to put the roof on with. Still to this day I got a magnet that I run across my yard before I cut my grass because I keep finding nails. I'm aggravated with that part of it. They did a great job on doing the roof and other than damaging my gutter; which they fixed, but we've had some heavy rains this past week and it's come loose again and we've already called them to come out and fix it the second time. I don't want to give them a C. On responsiveness, a lot of people around here are getting their roofs redone since Matthew came through in the Fall, so taking that into consideration I give them an A. On professionalism I give them a B just for the reasons I've already mentioned. I would use them again, just hopefully by the time I need them again; which would hopefully be 25 years.

We were remodeling a house that we bought and also build a new 20'x20' rec room in which both buildings got a new shingled roof. Our contractor (who we would not use again or recommend using) sub-ed out the work to Miachael's Roofing. Because of permit problems, there was a month or two in which we could not continue working on house/roof. When we were cleared to continue working on the house/roof, we called to see when they would come to finish the roof work because they had already received full payment for the job. For two months, we called Michael's Roofing. we were told by Michael Cannon to not call anymore as they had our name on their board and that they would get to us. We spoke with Crystal in the office to setup a time for them to finish the roof work and also to get warranty papers and copy of invoice showing costs. We paid $16,000 to the contractor for both roofs but when we finally received the invoice from Michael's Roofing it stated that the costs was $9475. (Due to the difference in price from sub and contractor, we gave pricing a grade of "D".) We left messages for another THREE months for Michael Cannon to call us back but he NEVER would return our calls. My wife then resorted to calling his cellphone. When she finally spoke with him, she asked why he had never called back and when he was going to finish the job that he already been paid for, he stated that he "thought the work had been finished" (which he still did not explain why he was not returning calls) and promised that they would come out the following week to complete the job. They NEVER did. We then wrote a letter (since they would not respond to phone calls) asking them to please just come and finish the job. They NEVER had the courtesy to respond to the letter either. Due to them not finishing the roof work to close up the eaves, we had problems with squirrels getting in the eaves. Then to make matters even worse, after a couple of hard rains, we discovered that the brand new roof on the main house was leaking. We then called his office and told them we had a leak in our new roof. If his warranty was any good, he would have addressed it immediately. Once again he NEVER called or came out to resolve the problem and make good on his warranty. Due to no response from Michael's Roofing, we had to hire and pay a reputable roofer to complete the job that Michael's Roofing left unfinished and to correct the mistakes and the shoddy work that Michael's Roofing had left us with.

Michael's Roofing had 98% of the job completed when the customer wanted to change the louvers to metal which would have been an additional charge. There was a lot of conflict between the customer and their contractor which caused us to almost lose our business license for doing a job with no permit that we thought they had already received. We thought that it was best to eliminate our company from that situation. The leak on the louvers and the metal was not our responsibility."

It went pretty good. They failed to replace water diverters but returned within a few days to re-install after I called. The new roof looks good, however, many pots and planters on the back side of our home were move around the patio away from the house and not returned but were placed in the yard. Our BBQ grill was also moved to the yard and the cover was coated in mud and sand from it raining the whole weekend after the roof was installed. I have found to date about 12-15 roofing nails around the house. One of these was found on the driveway. I also picked up several cigarette butts. We hope that's all the nails. Otherwise we are satisfied with the quality of the work.

The whole process went smoothly. The estimate was given on time and matched that of the insurance company.
The work was done in a timely fashion. The site was cleaned up afterwards. I only found 4 nails on the ground after they left.
The men did the job in a professional manner.
After it rains, I'll check for leaks, but don't anticipate any.
If I needed to have the house reroofed in the future, I'll certainly contact them

They used a high dollar shingle that hardly anybody uses. Michael was here all day because he was excited to finally use that type of high grade shingle. His guys were all very professional. He was here right when he said he would be. It was just a very efficiently run and professionally run operation from beginning to end. I was up on the roof with him watching and listening. It was just a really professional crew I am very satisfied with the work done.

We called them because our roof was damaged during a strong storm. We were also thinking on installing gouters, so we asked prices and agree on doing everything with them. They repair the roof that very same day and scheduled the gouter's installation for 3 weeks later. They came in time, did a very good job (from what I can tell) and were very professional.
You might get it cheaper somewhere else, but I do not feel like I paid more than what I should have.

They did it twice because there was a manufacturer defect in the shingles and they redid it. They also put a better shingles. I am happy with them. They were really nice. They did come dressed in shorts, but that was fine with me. Some people may not like them, but I am sure if they had a problem they would fix it. They do something that is super with the roofing these days, but these people use nail guns and they do everything by hand. They are excellent. Some people like about them better. My shingle still looks better than my neighbors.

The work is good. The area was left neat and clean. The job ended up being more than thought (there was structural damage to our home) and the opinion given by their roofing professional was appreciated. We went ahead and did the originally agreed upon reflashing of chimney and replacement of tile in order to stop immediate leaks when it rained, but we are having to deal with the home's builder and insurance company before we pursue a correction to the structural damage. We hope to use Michael's Roofing again for the rest of the work.
The only downside was that it took so long for the repair to be done--a month in fact. We left several messages after an estimate was given and our calls weren't returned for 3 weeks. When we finally did hear back, we had to wait another week before someone actually came and repaired the roof. I understand that, with all the rain we had in the area recently, they are busy, and it seems other reviewers didn't have this problem. Overall, it didn't sour me on their company and I would use them again.
