Replaced as it was cracked on bottom and at rear.

I knew their was a problem with the dryer connection. I couldn’t get the screws loose and there looked like something had heated up and melted the molded piece. Robert removed the bad connection part, got my dryer up and running. And he connected my washer told me my bent drain hose would create a problem and he replaced it with a new unbent hose and secured the connections. He cleaned up the area of his work debris and tested the appliances to make sure they were working. I am very satisfied with the work Robert did and his professionalism. He showed me each problem he encountered and told me what was wrong.

The technician arrived at the very beginning of the 2 hour window - very punctual. He very quickly diagnosed my problem as a stuck switch. He repaired the switch, requiring no parts, and only charged the diagnostic fee. I have had work done by Lightning before, and I recommend them highly.

Required 2 visits and ordered part. But it went well once diagnosed.

My dryer would not power on and I called the technician on Tuesday. He answered immediately and came out the next day. He was professional and punctual. He ordered the part and came back the next day to complete the job. The process was simple and easy.

They showed up the same day I called and were able to tix my oven in less than 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend

I was quoted $45 for a service call over the phone...but when they got there, my son was told that the repair was so expensive, it made sense to get a new dryer. But they charged my son $65. Dishonest!

Ran a diagnostic to insure that was the only problem and then He replaced the bad element with a new one.

When I contacted the company, they did come as scheduled due to short notice. They replaced a thermostat and tested it to see that it heat up. We didn't use the dryer at all until 3 days later and when we did, it stopped heating after 3 loads. They came back out and found out the original issue was the heater needed replacing. The tech initially charged me $184.45 for the first visit and $100 for the second visit (second visit was suppose to be part only fee). I found out from my warranty company that the second visit I was over charge since the heater part for my dryer is on $15 and they charged me $85 trip fee!! I was reimbursed by my warranty company for the full amount of the first visit, but nothing on the second. This is not good business practice to customers and will not be a repeat customer going forward.

The repairperson arrived on time, was very polite, and did the repair very well. However, the repair was very basic--a starter relay replacement. This is something that any layperson can do in five minutes after looking up instructions online; it involves unplugging a single part and replacing it, only slightly more complicated than changing a lightbulb. Due to my job, I couldn't get the part soon enough to save the food in the fridge and freezer so I hired Lightning Appliance Service. At the end, I discovered that I would be charged $232--$75 for the part and $157 for labor. The repairman was at my house for 15 minutes. When I asked why I was being charged $10/minute for labor, I was told it was a flat fee and that if the starter went bad again within a year, they would fix it for free. Before I hired this company, I asked about pricing and was not told anything about being charged a flat fee for doing any amount of repairs.

There were a total of 3 visits to my home. The first was a diagnostic in terms of determining the problem. Robert determined the compressor was likely the source but was not sure because the freezer side remained cold. He ordered a control panel thinking this may be the reason for the disconnect with the compressor. Second visit - Robert installed the control board. The Refrigerator cooled for about 3 weeks, then began warming again. This time, temperature began warming in the freezer in addition to the refrigerator section. I called the company and explained the refrigerator was warming again and making a different and infrequent noise. Robert returned to my home the next day, despite snow in the area the prior day and some street roads were a little icy. On the 3rd visit, Robert removed a panel at the bottom, inside of the freezer. He pointed to the coil, stated it should be completely white, frosted, from top to bottom. This meant the compressor was bad and I needed to purchase a new refrigerator. The control panel and service charge totaled $365 with Angie’s coupon. I paid the full amount after the control board was installed. I discussed returning a portion of this amount since the part was not needed and I had to purchase a new refrigerator. Robert agreed to talk to management about refunding a portion of the money. Several weeks passed so I called to inquire about a refund. Robert answered the phone. He apologized for the delay and lack of follow-up. He informed me that he would check with management and return my call. He called 15 minutes later and apprised they would issue a refund for $270, charging $95 for the service calls. I thought this was fair and reasonable in view of three visits to the home.

Repairman listened as I described the issue. He determined the part that he had to go pick up and returned to fix the washer.

It went well. The service man was very honest and detailed in his explanations. He told me that it would be more cost effective to replace my washing machine, but he was able to repair my refrigerator. I was charged a service fee for each appliance, but the fee charged was much less than other local repairmen had quoted.

The tech had it diagnosed and repaired in 25 minutes. He was professional, skilled, and courteous. I will gladly use Lightning again if I need appliance service.

I had to call them to confirm that they were in fact coming as I never received a call. They apologized and came out 2hrs after the time window initially given. The tech was nice and answered any questions I had. They put a little cloth cover to protect the surface of your appliance. All in all I would say they are decent people. I haven't done a load of laundry yet so hopefully this washer doesn't begin to wobble.
