Williford Heating and Air

Installation was performed sooner than expected. Professional job done in about 4 hours.

The guys came out early that morning and started the process of switching out the old unit for the new one.  They were very professional and courteous.  They made sure that they laid down protective drop cloths for them to walk on and for each unit to be moved on so that there would not be any trash to worry about while they did the installation.  I was very impressed with their attitudes and it didn't hurt that each gentlemen had a sense of humor as well.  We all got along great and yes, I would recommend Williford Heating & Air to anyone. After everything was finished, they cleaned up the area and took away all of the boxes, so that we didn't have to be bothered with any clean-up. Great team of people to work with.

Well, generally his (the owner and sevicer) personality was well, not good.
1.  When attempting to get him to service the rental unit his communication was bad.  Not kill the deal bad, but still not helpful.  It ry to put my renter in direct contact with the contractor to speed things up.  It did not really work this time.  He did properly diagnose the problem and refill the coolant though.  As to replacing the coil, I told him we would need to save to do it.
2.  He did some work at our home trying to get our heat working... reprogrammed our unit... whatever that meant.  We had heat for a while then it stopped.  Another HVAC guy diagnosed it as a bad capacitor on the OUTSIDE unit.  He never looked at that.  It only worked because the capacitor was in the stages of failing.  The outside unit was also low on coolant.  Oh, and he did not program our thermostat correctly.  NEST fixed that.
3.  He told me our SEER 16 unit was a waste of money...
4.  At this point, I really did not want to give him more business, but since he started the work, I wanted to let him finish it.  I contacted him when we had the cash and asked him to set things in motion.  I waited 9 days and asked for an update.  On the 10th or 11th day I said, If you don't have an update, I need to get someone else to do the work."  He said to get someone else.  Well, ok, thanks for wasting my time.
Oh, and he did not like communicating with my wife.  He would only really speak to me.  I don't go for that, "Is your husband home" stuff.

Perfect service. This is the second time we have used them to install central air unit. Arrived on time, finished very fast. We also have used them in the past to service previous unit and always satisfied with responsiveness and service.

They were fine. He hauled a whole bunch of pine straw out from under the air conditioning.

We have used Williford several times now and will definitely continue to use them. We have 12 year old HVAC systems in our house and they are getting to be on their last leg. We contacted Williford intially and he was able to get us a factory rebate on a part since the unit was still under a manufacturer's warranty. We would have never known that. So, they are definitely honest and just looking to get you the best service they think they can offer. They are always timely and understand that having your AC go out in a Georgia summer is considered a STAT situation!

I used them about 2 months ago and they didn't charge us anything. We had our whole system redone for a couple thousands of dollars and this visit was to tend to some kind of glitch in the system. We have 2 units in our business and one of them would not come on. We've used them for many generations. They're a family-run business, they're quick too do the job and their honest. They took care of everything without me being here.

Great. Fast.

Although,I still have warranties with the company that installed my heating and air unit i will be calling Willifords. I would rather pay for competent service then rely on people that install and don't bother testing before leaving. They found that an earlier problem I had with the system during a summer call from the other company might have caused the problem I had in the winter.

I was pleased with the work Williford Heating and Air did. They were trustworthy and honest. They did whatever they said they would do.

They provided excellent service and they were very responsive. They called me back right away. They are reliable and know what they are doing. I've used them in the past on my air conditioner. I had to call them out three times before they could actually see the problem and they didn't charge me for all that running back and forth. They were here when they said they would be. They took the time to explain everything and thoroughly look at the problem. They did a fantastic job.

This company has done work on HVAC units on several of our rental properties. This is a family run business; you call in and mom takes the information. Within a very short period of time you are contacted and the unit is checked out. Unless a special part is required, the work is completed that same day. They have always responded quickly and remained professional in their dealings with us.

They were very responsive to my problems, as I am hospitalized, and made the extra effort to get the problem fixed without any hassles. They were very courteous on the telephone and in person. I would recommend them

He provided A + services and did a great job on maintenance of the air conditioning unit. He answered questions and didn't charge anything outside the agreement. He even arrived earlier than scheduled. He immediately went to work and ensured I was satisfied before he left. He is very easy to work with and very professional.
