CertaPro of Augusta GA

used them in the Augusta Georgia area and THEY WERE " TERRIBLE ". They painted over visible issues / damages without any type of correction. They were sloppy and INCOMPETENT. One of the rooms that they painted was so TERRIBLE that I asked for my money back, which I received. Please, if you love your home and your MONEY even more, then don't use use CertaPro of the CSRA. These are the guys that CertaPro sent to paint my house ???. ?????????

We recently wrapped up interior painting services with CertaPro at our new home. This house was built nearly 60 years ago and had quite a few challenges. Austen and his crew did a really terrific job taking care of making this house a home for us. They were professional, courteous, and friendly. They made the process very comfortable and left our house in great shape.

It went great!!!! Austen Lynn and his crew of professional, well trained technicians painted and restored the walls/trim in my master bath to perfection and it only took a day and a half! Excellent work and precision; these guys take their craft seriously and I'll be calling them again for future jobs.

We just had the best team from Certa Pro refinish the cedar on our house. Austen Lynn along with Shawn, Tim, Jody and Jordan transformed our place in a short 72 hrs. Check out the before and after pics for yourself! Not only was this team professional and courteous, but they were knowledgeable, efficient and paid close attention to detail. We will always use CertaPro in the future and we will ask specifically for Austen and his team. Why look elsewhere when we found the best!

Gene and Billy came in , took over the job . Left me a very happy customer . They did an excellent job , cleaned up , were very professional and I will use them again . Thank God for people who still take pride in their work and will stand behind it . Remember Certa Pro when you get ready to paint .

Everyone was friendly and showed up on time. The crew did fix nail holes in the walls, but did not want to repair anything else. The were quick and painted well. When the job was finished, and the crew had left, I noticed a few things that was not repaired and a room that the base boards were missed. They came back a couple of weeks later. It ended up being me trying to convince the painter to try and fix/repaint the items. Some things they did, some they did not. The job was still not done 100% and did cause some anxiety. I ended up micro managing the job to get basic repair work done. The company did offer to send another crew out, but I had already lost 3 days of work so I was unable to take more time off to oversee the second attempt to correct. I ended up asking for some paint so that I could repair and paint the areas myself.

Sloppy - did not take down a curtain rod, then when we later replaced it we had a contrasting wall color/holes to cover. Wall paint was slopped onto trim in places. We also had some stereo earpieces that went missing during their visit. They did replace the cost of the earbuds, but I would not want them in my house again.

The painting went well. I did ask for some holes NOT to be patched, but they were patched anyways. Overall the paint job was good, but the attention to detail was lacking. Paint was left on several light switches and outlets, dust got everywhere from sanding, and was not cleaned up well. Paint was dripped on floors despite being covered with cloths. When I responded to the management, I never received an acknowledgement of my complaint or response to them. I ended up hiring a cleaning service to clean up the mess that was left after the crew hastily cleaned up with a shop vac and dirty chemical soaked rags. The end result of the painting was good, but the details were not. It ended up being more expensive and more of a hassle due to the cleanup efforts. It is upsetting that they would not respond or work with me after I paid the invoice for services.

#Awesome! I used Certa Pro January of 2015 and was very pleased. Ashley the guy that leads one of the paint groups for Augusta , Ga made me feel very comfortable with them inside and outside my home. I have no complaints and I'm a neat freak. I'm having a even larger Job done next month. Don't think about it. Call them they Honor Military and Seniors.

The crew started Friday, very close to 8:30 which was awesome due to the rain. Their work hours are supposed to be from 8-5, but the crew leader asked if I minded if they stay late. They got the whole house painted with two coats of paint and finished clean up by 7:30 pm. They volunteered to work on Saturday to finish the house so it would be ready when my furniture arrived. They arrived promptly at 8:30 Saturday and worked non stop to get my house completed. They removed screws that were in the wall, covered the holes, basically made my house look brand new again. I am so happy to have my new house mine. Thank you for fitting me in last minute and having the work done to meet my schedule, all the while being prompt, efficient, and professional. Barnaby and his crew were awesome and I am VERY PLEASED with the end result.

It went quite well. This project follows a much smaller job that we'd done as a "tryout" with Sheri and her folks a few weeks ago. That one was more than satisfactory, so we gave it another shot with this more extensive work, and we have no regrets at all. Sheri again helped us with color selection, and Hector and his partner were skilled and diligent in getting the work done on schedule, which is a huge factor for me. So many service people are not schedule-driven, which can be highly stressful. Not so with CertaPro of Augusta. They finished the day they said they would--even working well into the evening to ensure that the schedule was met. And Hector returned the following day to help me place a heavy, bulky umbrella back into a table on the freshly painted deck, which he certainly was not obligated to do. He also helped me nail a board back on one of my fence decks.







These are quality people, and my wife and I appreciate their efforts.

It went quite well. 
The reason I didn't rate their price higher is because our job fell below their minimum charge. It was a small project that I wanted to do on an experimental basis before moving on to bigger jobs.
Even with its small scope, Sheri Osburn and her staff made us feel important. She was flexible and went out of her way to ensure that we had a top-quality painter who understood the importance of attention to detail. He arrived on time and worked quietly and efficiently, completing his work well ahead of the time frame I'd been given. He also consulted with me periodically to make sure we were in agreement.
Sheri also was instrumental in helping us select the appropriate color for the washroom. The finished product was a major improvement over what we had previously. Very pleased with the results.
I expect to be contacting CertaPro of Augusta for additional projects in the near future.

They quoted us. We accepted the price (which seemed a bit high, but we were excited to have a change in our kitchen after 15 years, so we went with it!). When the two painters arrived (only one spoke English so we only communicated with the one that spoke English, which was fine) they did not bring the necessary things required to do the job. My husband had to rummage around in our back yard to find lumber that they could rest the cabinet doors on once they were removed. Spots were missed that didn't received all three coats (primer and two coats of paint). Trash was rolled in to the paint along with a few spots where the workers hair was actually rolled in to the painted surfaces. A couple of the cabinet doors were allowed to dry while touching the drop cloth and were re-installed with fuzz along the edges that pulled away from the drop cloth. The people in the office seemed to want to be helpful and remedy the situation. They came out to our house to review the job and agreed to send a team back out to make us happy. At times it seemed as though they thought we might be asking for too much. Once, the lady from the office even intimated that she "thought" the crew that had been sent to us had painted cabinets before....she didn't seem convinced to us. They then sent one man back out to fix the problems. We pointed out the problem areas and in particular the hair!!! He said he would go to work on it. We gave it a hurried once over as he left and the office lady came back again. We were frustrated and out of time. The second "team" (one guy) had actually given the hair another coat of paint!!! We were done with these folks. We did not want them in our house again. We are fixing the issues as best we can on our own. While the office people genuinely seemed to want to "make us happy" we just didn't get happy with their performance. We would never hire this company again.

The crew arrived on time on Friday.  They came in to ensure they had all the proper materials and started working immediately.  They had 3 days to complete the job and finished in 1 1/2.  All areas were perfect.

The overall job was completed on schedule and very satisfactory.  
The support posts, rails and light poles were scrapped to remove peeling paint, sanded and scuff sanded all surfaces.  A direct to metal primer was applied to all bare metal surfaces. Two finish coats of Sherman Williams heavy duty exterior, oil based painted with applied.  A thorough clean up of work area was performed after completion.
