My experience with Michael was outstanding in every way.  He stripped and refinished a 75 year old bedroom set which had belonged to my parents.  Michael was responsive to my first inquiry and provided advice and a detailed accounting of the work to be done.  He kept me updated on the progress throughout the process.  The finished product is beyond my expectations - the set looks absolutely beautiful and has garnered many compliments.  Michael obviously takes pride in what he does and it shows.  I would highly recommend him for any refinishing project.

Our dining room table was loaded improperly by our movers (legs weren't removed, many heavy boxes were stored on top), and the fragile pedestal legs seemed hopelessly shattered upon arrival after they had been in storage for two months. I found Woodlynx Restoration on Angie's list, and took my chances. Michael gave us an estimate based on pictures we emailed, finished the work ahead of his own estimated time frame, and you would never know they had been damaged at all. Michael did a fabulous job and I would not hesitate to recommend him or use his services again.

I brought in my two damaged antique chairs that the movers had severely scratched, etc.  Michael restored them beautifully.  You cannot tell that they were ever damaged.

.Michael Abraham is a remarkable man. Woodlynx Woodcarving did an incredible job. This was very important to me, everybody else would have trashed it when I was 13 years old but I insisted we keep it and all its contents and dragged it all around with me. His responsiveness was very good. His work was an A+. He was very receptive to our needs and loves his work. He is welcoming all the time. He is humble and he is a great guy all around.

Michael is very friendly, professional, listens carefully to your needs, and above all is very very good at what he does.  When I took him our busted table I handed him a gallon zip-lock bag full of the pieces from the shattered edge.  This seemed like an absolute nightmare to me but he carefully laid out the pieces and told me exactly how he would repair the table.  This was very detailed work and he did an absolutely beautiful job.  Plus he didn't stop at just fixing the shattered edge he also polished the entire table including the top surface which got rid of an old water ring from a glass. The table also had a slight wobble and Michael fixed that too!  
 Due to the tedious nature of the repair he had to work on it a little at a time and after two weeks he called to tell me it was all finished.  My wife didn't know I took the table to have it repaired and she was absolutely amazed when I brought it home!  We still have a hard time finding the side where he did the repair.  It looked better than it did before our dog knocked it over.
 He only charged $80 for the work but I gave him $100 for the great work.  I could not recommend this place enough!  We currently have our antique radio there getting completely refinished.

I took the chairs in and we discussed them and Michael gave me a cost estimate.  I then visited again when the chairs were stripped so we could discuss the finishing.   Within 2 more days Michael had them done and ready to go.

He did such a good job.  He was extremely personable and listened to this project which was enormous.  He could not have taken better care of the Victrola.  He came to my home and transported the Victrola to his workshop.  He kept me informed about the status as he worked.  He revealed more to me than I could have researched about the Victrola.  I have nothing but complimentary things to say about him.
