WellStar Health Place

I used a personal trainer there. I have used their workout facility. I have never taken any classes there. The facility is unbelievable. It is affiliated with the hospital, so it is the nicest of any health facility I have ever been at. It is two stories. They have an Olympic sized pool, they have racquetball courts, they have a workout room with circuits, they have a walking trail that goes all around the gym. They have a really nice locker room, men and women with sauna and steam room for both, showers. I have been in a lot of health facilities over the last 20-30 years and this is probably the nicest one. The particular reason that I went to this particular facility is because I wanted to be with a personal trainer who was affiliated with them. I got a referral from a personal friend to the personal trainer. They are a cut above of most of the fitness facilities. Every time I go there I have always been completely satisfied and have received the same service every time. It is never crowded.

I just joined them about several weeks ago and they are excellent. They have a lot of classes six days a week from yoga to weight classes to cardio classes and all kinds of classes. They have a big gym area with machines and weights. They have someone that will take you through and show you how to use everything. They have a large swimming pool and racquetball courts. You can even schedule a massage if you want to get a massage and they have nutrition people that will help you. WellStar Health Place is just a good facility. It is not intimidating to go there like a lot of gyms. They are associated with the hospital so it is almost clinical. It is nothing fancy but they just offer so much. The classes there run all day, some even start at 5:00 AM and it really works. The membership there costs about $40 a month. The people working there are really nice and extremely accommodating. There are also so many people that go there that I am meeting a lot of new people which is a good thing for me.

They took her to a kidney doctor without consulting us and dropped her off with no one there to help her. She had dementia and could not answer any of the questions or fill out any forms. Could not get her sugar right. Did not listen to us. Told us they could not extend her stay and had to go into other nursing care. Released her WITH THE URINARY TRACT INFECTION SHE WAS HOSPITALIZED FOR.
They would not let her walk with her walker kept her in wheelchair they released early due to "not cooperating with physical therapy my husband got her walking with walker no problem. I thought that was why she was there for help walking again and physical therapy?
She was hospitilized again for the uniary tract infection. She passed away in May.
They are terrible terrible terrible. Also, gave very bad information on financial matters and medicare.

They are very professional, and they are convenient to where I live. They are overall very good.

.I was there this morning. They have a cardio area for people who have had heart attacks. They have classes and a pool. The facilities are excellent. They have an exercise room. It is not state of the art but it is good enough for me. Their are doctors and nurses there. I just use all the machines. The price is reasonable, I get discounts and a senior price. The quality is very good and the customer service is excellent. I will continue to use them in the future.
