+ -1 moreJOHN WAS FRIENDLY ON THE PHONE BUT IN HINDSIGHT WE FELT WE COULD HAVE USED MORE DISCUSSION AND ADVICE (FOR EXAMPLE, TO TALK TO OUR NEIGHBORS PRIOR TO THE WORK). THE WORK WAS UNDERTAKEN QUICKLY, BUT HE DID NOT LET US KNOW WHEN (DATE OR TIME) HE WOULD BE ON OUR PROPERTY. HE WAS RELUCTANT TO SUBSEQUENTLY ANSWER QUESTIONS THAT AROSE, ONLY AFTER SOME PERSISTENCE DID HE TELL US THAT A NEIGHBOR WAS OFFENDED. WE ASKED FOR A DRAWING OF THE HOUSE WITHIN THE PROPERTY LINES, BUT HE NEVER SENT A BID FOR THAT PART OF THE WORK. OVERALL, IT WAS A SLIGHTLY DISSATISFYING EXPEREINCE, ALTHOUGH WE DID LEARN ABOUT WORKING WITH CONTRACTORS. TO BE FAIR HE DID WHAT WE ORIGINALLY ASKED, BUT OFFERED NOTHING ELSE.
