Two Men and a Truck

Warning! Water damage due to Two Men and a Truck move! My boyfriend and I hired Two Men and a Truck to move him from his two bedroom rental townhouse to his new house. The pre-letter move we got mentioned that all water lines must be disconnected prior to our arrival. • Appliances: All appliances must be emptied including refrigerators and freezers. Also, all water and gas lines must be disconnected prior to our arrival as our team members are not allowed to disconnect these items for both your safety and ours. When they arrived at the new house, the manager / lead guy, said they could not hook up the water lines due to liability issues, however, he did hook up the drain line. My boyfriend signed the disclaimer and they left. My boyfriend then hooked up the water lines. He ran the first load of laundry and watched it closely. He ran the second load and spot checked it. He ran the third load and half way through the drain cycle, he had water dripping from every seam in the ceiling on his lower level (washer and dryer are on the second level of the house). It turns out when they hooked up the drain line, they didn’t connect it securely. This is the response we got from Two Men and a Truck I wanted to touch base with you as I've reached out to your partner regarding this issue and have gotten no response. I'm aware of the issue that you have regarding the plumbing leaking, however as you were informed on the day of the move as well as in your pre-move letter, we do not disconnect or reconnect plumbing lines which includes any drain lines. Our manager informed your partner of this by telling him that it was his responsibility to secure all lines in which your partner agreed and admitted to. We're terribly sorry that you are having to deal with a water damage following your move but we hope you understand that we can't be held liable nor accept responsibility for any damage that occurred after we left and wasn't caused by any negligence on our part. 1. First of all, my boyfriend never received a call from Two Men and a Truck. 2. The pre-letter move only discusses the disconnecting of the water lines 3. I was physically present when the manager said he hooked up the drain line Just be careful when they leave to redo anything they offer to help with that is related to water or gas lines.

My husband paid them so I'm not sure of the price. They did a great job, they were punctual, they were fast they were very profesional they came with their own equipment and they did a really good job with padding up the furniture.

They were helpful.

This was the 2nd time I used them so I could only use Angie's coupon once, but they gave me a discount as a repeat user anyway. They were prompt to arrive...quick to load...fair in pricing...and highly professional. I will be back.

The move started out ok but, when they realized the truck was too small and they needed to make a second trip, the crew rushed through and did a haphazard job. Oh yes, and we were charged extra for the second trip to move our things. So, the time and money for their mistake (underestimating the size truck) fell on us. Then, in the rush, they stopped wrapping furniture with care and chipped and scratched my washer and dryer. They left the beds in pieces and we had to put them together and position the mattress (not an easy chore for 2 seniors). We rated them unprofessional because they left black boot marks on the stairs, dirty finger prints on the furniture and mattresses, and footprints on the carpet.
We will not use them again and would not recommend them.

The movers were as professional and nice as could be. The work was done very well. I would highly recommend them.

Two young men and their supervisor showed up on time and in good spirits. All three worked hard to wrap all of my furniture and load it on the truck. They were very careful not to damage anything. I can't say enough about their wonderful attitudes! The process took a little longer than I expected, but I was willing to pay a little extra for such good service.

Their price was reasonable. They arrived ready to work. There was a lot of furniture. They loaded everything and moved within a few hours. They wrapped everything properly before loading and unloaded properly after the move.

They were on time, and professional.

The process went extremely well from the reservation to the day of the move, that only took about 3 hours and 45 minutes. I elected to pay for an extra guy to make it and quot;Three Men and a Truckand quot;. that really made the move much faster. Once they were there, one was able to wrap furniture and move little stuff while other two moved the heavier stuff.

The guys confirmed earlier that morning of the move and showed up on time, they explained the rates and that related to total time and started a stop watch. Never did I see a group of hard working guys that took a lot of pride in their work. I distinctly remember one actually had my living room couch on his shoulders alone! The only damage that occurred was do to my fault, which was a glass that I did not have properly wrapped.

I would definitely use them again if I had moving needs.

They were awesome. I was this crew's third move of the day and you would not have known that. Bobby and Darnel showed up and go to it. They got my entire house loaded under 2 hours, drove to the new house and got me unloaded in even less time. They were great the entire time. I had some friends come over toward the end of the move who are moving this week and they decided to hire Two Men and A Truck and request Bobby and Darnel based on what they saw.

Great experience

Two Men and a Truck did a very good job. They were prompt, on time and didn't damage anything.

All was smooth and easy.

They were very professional. They were early. They called to confirm that I would be there. They showed up even earlier which gave me more time in the afternoon.

I used them twice, once in 2002 and again in 2008; I used them the second time because I was satisified with my former experience. Both times they actually sent 3 men at no additional charge. Both times they worked hard and took no breaks and kept the service within the 2-hr minimum. The second time the movers invited me to tip them, which was awkward. The second time one of the three was not really careful with hitting the walls with my furniture. I'm going to experiment with a different mover next time and see how it goes. Their phone number seems to have changed; it is now 678 305-7304 for 2000 Cobb Int'l Blvd in Kennesaw.

Jessica believed that it would be best if I had three men at my particular job because of the amount of items. Three men cost $130 an hour (with a two hour minimum). After I signed some papers, all three men went to work. They had to go out the basement door and up a steep hill to get to the truck. They worked very hard and quickly (no breaks or stopping to talk). I appreciated that since I was paying by the hour. Then they took the items to a mini-storage unit about 10 miles away. They worked quickly and efficiently to get everything in my storage unit. These were great professionals. They were pleasant, kind and extremely hard working. I will not think twice about using them again when my basement is finished to bring the items back. I also purchased some packing materials. They would have delivered them for free if I needed them. I thought that was a very nice courtesy. Jessica and I communicated a lot through e-mail. She is also extremely efficient and easy to work with!
