Trutech

We could hear a lot of activity in our attic and thought it might be a mother with babies. I called the 800 number which was a customer service facility and they contacted their local employee. Within an hour he contacted me. We were told by another company we called that if they caught the raccoon it would be euthanized and we didn't want to do that. The Trutech trapper we spoke to said that they had access to a large area of land where they could release the raccoon. We knew where the raccoon was entering. He inspected the roof area and what he could see of the attic and set two traps. He applied something with male raccoon scent on the entry point and told us that if the female smelled it she would remove her babies because she would think they were in danger. The very next afternoon I heard a noise in the attic and looked out my window to see the mother carrying away one of her babies. She returned a few minutes later and carried another one out. Trutech came the next day and secured the opening with wire and a repellent. The trapper was very knowledgeable, professional and punctual. I never thought we would have such success. Hopefully we won't have this problem again but I would definitely call them if we did.
