I had squirrels and or rats in the attic.  Nice young man came and set traps.  Said it would cost $439 to get rid of squirrels/rats and he'c ome until they were gone.  Said I should have exclusion barrier put up - metal flashing behind gutters.  Wanted $2500.  I paid the $439 and said I wanted second opinion on exlucsion.  Called Breda and got quote of $1100 for exclusion barrier and to get rid of existing pests.  Called Trutech back to  cancel.  Manager said he'd have to charge me $229 for service call and would refund $210.  I have never gotten the refund in spite of calling several times.  Last time manager did not return my call.

After calling and price checking several places, I looked into this company. First, let me warn you, unlike the others, there are no free estimates here. The technician came out promptly at my convenience, but informed me that I was already into them for over $100. That was not good news to me....but when given the total estimates..his estimate for the job I wanted done. (Get rid of the squirrels and seal the openings)..was much lower than the others. I was told that if I signed up for a total pest control plan that I could get a bigger discount on the job, plus he would deal with any other rodents I had in the attic and spray for roaches, etc. every month. I thought it might be worth it, which is why the total price is over 1000. However, this is only a few hundred over the other estimates. Now, to explain why it was worth it, the technician set a lethal trap and came back regularly to remove and reset the trap. This has been going on for months now. During the first few months, he caught 4 to 5 squirrels. When we thought they had stopped he closed up the hole. A few months later, a few more showed up at the hole trying to get in again. He came back out, redid everything and caught a few more. Then he resealed the hole. A "new" technician came out the other day to spray and promised to begin looking into possible field mice in my attic now. Given the diligent response by the technicians of this company, I truly would recommend it to any person who has this type of problem.

They were excellent. We also had them do some extra work other than bee removal. We had them do bat prevention and the total bill came up to a 1000 $. They were very professional and did a great job. They were very responsible and were able to fix the problems as well. I will use their services in the future as well.
