This was my first time replacing a roof, so I asked Steve Little owner of Top 2 Bottom Remodeling the necessary steps to get the job completed. After contacting my insurance company I showed him all the paper work. He said his company could do the work and stay within the payout of the insurance company and I would not owe anything at the end. I ended up paying $500 in addition to the insurance check. Situation #1. Situation #2. I noticed in my second bathroom a hole in the ceiling. I called Steve Little and he another worker came and looked at the hole and said it looked as though the area had been patched before and thought the boot on the roof had been pushed too far down and reopened the space. He said he would charge me $100 to repair it. I pointed out that if it had not been for the boot the ceiling would be just fine. He told me he would come back and have someone repair it. That never happened nor did he comment or agree that it is his company's fault. Situation #3. The hard rain came and only in that same spot did the ceiling leak. I called again. He and another worker once again showed up. Went up on the roof. Said that same boot was not secured down and that caused the leak. They fixed the boot but again said nothing about the hole in my bathroom. My husband was home when they came. Final. I called 5 times to inquire about when they were coming back. Two times, Steve Little made appointment times with me. Both times he did not show or call to say he or someone from his company would be coming to do the repair. Now he does not answer my calls. When I met Steve Little, through my husband, he told me his work is done through his church. Because my husband did most of the decision making on the contractor for the job, it was not until after the start of job that I realized his business is not church related as he lead me to believe during numerous conversations.
