THE TOY SHOP

I wrote a review for the Toy shop in 2017 here. Butch, Grant, and the Toy Shop team are just as awesome now as they were then. Only difference is that in addition to our 2000 Sienna, 2005 Camry, and 2007 Honda, they also provide all service work (except for an occasional oil change/tire rotation) on our 2015 Forester. Their prices are fair, they do outstanding work, and will tell you what needs to be fixed and what potential repair can be safely "watched" but does not need to be repaired now. The Toy Shop has been keeping my family's cars running well since 1998. If you own a Japaneese car and you are anywhere near their Marrietta location, I promise you there is no better Auto repair shop in the area. Give the Toy shop a try. You will not be dissapointed.

Completed the job on-time and for the price quoted. Have had no issues since the job was done.

Results (Two of 5 examples): 2000 Toyota Sienna Mini-Van. Bought with 18K miles in 2001. Now 260K. Engine and transmission running GREAT!. Burns a little oil. A few "aches and pains" (plastic trim degrading due to GA Sun) but reliable inexpensive transportation. No major parts replaced. Just recommended maintenance, batters, tire, a few plastic trim pieces etc. 2005 Toyota Camry - Bought with 30K miles in 2007. 180k miles now. Same story as the Sienna. Running great! Burns a little oil. Reliable inexpensive transportation and low insurance rates. Thanks Butch, Grant and the rest of the Toy Shop team. You all are honest, fair and a pleasure to work with. We have used them for at least 20 years. It turns out I went out to high school with the owners sister and brother. They are honest and stand by their work. They tell me when I do not some mechanical work at the moment.

The biggest thing I like about them is there honesty.  They don't just do repairs to make money, if it needs fixed it is true.

Both I and my daughter use the Toy Shop for all mechanical work on our Honda vehicles. Butch does great work and his prices are very fair and competitive. He was also very helpful to me with an issue I had with my Honda Accord Hybrid. The catalytic converters went bad immediately after the warranty ran out. I took the vehicle to him after visiting the dealer, who told me they would order and replace the converters at a cost in excess of $1,000.00. Toy Shop suggested I contact Honda USA as I was the original owner and always had maintenance performed in accordance with warranty schedule at the dealership. Honda USA covered the total cost of the replacement. That sold me on the Toy Shop as a place that I could trust with all future maintenance needs. My daughter purchased her Honda Civic after my experience with the Toy Shop and has since always used the Toy Shop for her maintenance needs. She has a high level of trust in the mechanics and the work they do.

They are really thorough, work with you on the repairs, make sure that you know what they're going to do, don't do any unnecessary work or if they see something was wrong while it's in there or what to add, they send me e-mail or whatever, "I can go ahead and take care of this or either if you like something else, it's going to cost you more money," but I don't have to go back in there re-did the labor on it, so they're very thorough. I use them for about 20 years now.

It used to be a Toyota repair place. My family has used them for over 25 years and they work on all Japanese imports now. They have been highly reliable and reputable. I will use them again in the future.

As with every instance, I am very satisfied with their service. It is their honesty and workmanship that I go to the Toy Shop. It can not be beat. You will never be sold something before it really needs to be replaced.

Everything was very good and there was nothing bad about them. He did good quality work and the price was fair for what he did. They were professional, responsive and punctual.
