Diagnosed and determined my electronic control panel needed replacement. Then, offered to sell to me one from their inventory. I declined and waited a few day, when lo and behold, my non functioning dishwasher began working again and still performs. Thus, charged $92 for a misdiagnosis.

The tech was great and the repair was speedy and efficient. However, the Applance Doctor has apparently changed it's pricing model. Prior there was a service charge (under $100) for the call and then additional costs were quoted if needed. The repair cost about twice what I had expected based on the many prior visits of this company. I felt like the price was way too high, double what I was expecting.

We have used this company several times, having found them on Angie's List, and have previously had no complaints. Clearly, however, they no longer need or want our business. A little over 3 weeks ago, we contacted them for a dishwasher repair. The first appointment they could give us was 3-4 days out. They came; the technician was very nice; said we needed a new motor for the pump, and it had to be picked up from the warehouse. The next appointment was another 3-4 days out. The same technician installs the pump. We attempt to run the dishwasher -- and get another error code. The guy comes back that same day and says the new pump is defective. Schedules another appointment several days in the future. He shows up that Saturday for an appointment and again replaces the part. Tells us to be sure and let the dishwasher "dry out" before we try to run it. We do not attempt to use it until Sunday night -- the dishwasher won't work and now we have a bunch of water we have to pump out of the bottom. We call Monday morning and they initially give us a Wednesday appointment, but are able to get there the same day because of a cancellation. Same guy comes, and tells us the second pump is defective. (At this point, I am becoming skeptical -- but they've already been paid.) We are scheduled for another technician on Thursday, in a window between noon and 4:00. They call my husband's cell and office numbers at 12;27 (while he was in a meeting) and leave a message, saying that the technician is on his way and if they don't hear back from my husband in 10 minutes they are cancelling. By the time my husband calls back, we are cancelled. Additionally, the dispatcher relays what can only be a deliberate falsehood: that they came to the house and no one was there. At the house there were two contractors working on doors and windows, and my college-age son. Not only did they report that no one came to the door, they also noted that the dogs never barked --which indicates that no one even pulled into the driveway. They have now given us a "first available" appointment (HA!) , which -- you guessed it -- is 4 days out. Having paid for the service, we are now stuck with a company that does not appear to be particularly competent, honest, or customer-service oriented. If they manage to turn this disaster around, I will certainly amend my review.

Great. He first tried to repair the one I had. And I appreciate that very much.

The office person who answered my call for service was very courteous and took all pertinent information. She explained the fee requirements and scheduled the appointment. The technician was prompt and he called when he was on his way. He diagnosed the problem and showed us the damaged part. Explained what needed to be done and that he needed to order the part. Went through the process of ordering, gave us the price of the part and additional labor. Told us office would call to make and appointment when part came in, which they did. Scheduled installation of new part and same technician came out to do it. That was important to me to have the same technician as he was very knowledgeable and friendly. I was very pleased with my experience and will use them again.

Everything went well. Had to ship the part to the manufacturer to be repaired and then reinstalled. Everything was timely!

It was more costly than I would have liked to have endured but much cheaper than a new refrigerator. Chris was excellent in detailing to me what he was doing and what needed to be done. The Angie's List coupon helped too! :-) I have used them before and will continue to do so.

The gentleman (John)--did an excellent job. He came on a Sunday (accommodating our request) and worked quickly and thoroughly. He educated us on the problem and how things worked.

I had another company come in to fix it before calling The Appliance Doctor. The technician came back 3 times only to tell me it couldn't be fixed. The awesome technician, Alex, from Appliance Doctor came in and diagnosed the problem in 10 minutes and fixed it in 30! He vacuumed out the lint vent and cleaned up behind himself. Outstanding service. Do yourself a favor and call these folks first.

Determined shaft was bent. Cost to repair exceeded cost of a new washer.

The new compressor failed to cool the refrigerator due to debris from the initial compressor blow out still in lines. Couldn't remove the debris so it was determined that a new refrigerator was needed.

We just had our very first repair experience with “Appliance Doctor” (770-952-4340). Randy, the technician, fixed our washing machine. He was truly AMAZING! His knowledge and expertise would easily justify him to have the title of “washer doctor”. And even though the appointment began late afternoon, it was as if the appointment was first one of the day. Randy was very efficient and extremely thorough. He patiently answered all of my questions, which revealed that I needed to make some adjustments in how I use my front-loader. I learned so much from him. Thank-you Randy for a superior appliance repair experience!

The repairman showed up on time and they gave me a phone call before so I could confine the dogs. A control panel was needed and the part was ordered. A week later the repairman called and said he was running early and could he come now to install the part. I was thrilled. I have my dishwasher back and it's running perfectly. They also gave me a senior discount.

Properly diagnosed the problem. Provided the estimate to fix the problem but recommended to replace the Dish washer instead of fixing. I followed his recommendation.

We didn't have any problem with them at all. It's still working. The guy was quite professional. We didn't have any issues with him being vague about what the problem was. He gave the diagnosis and told us what the problem was. He told us about the refrigerator.
