This is not my first time at That Computer Chick. It has always been a satisfactory experience. This most recent time, my disk filled up and I was in a desperate state. Matt was phenomenal. He took me in right away and spent the entire afternoon getting the part I needed and installing it so that I could have my computer back by that evening. They are about a 35 minute ride for me, but I will not go anywhere else.

They analyzed it and told me the hard drive was irreparable.

The service was great I was on my way to a big box store to have my computer checked after I had water damage at my house. While on my way I was stopped at a red light when I saw this store. I was quoted a much better price but most important a 1 day turn around. The other place cost about twice as much and a at least 1 week turn around.  Boy was I happy about a red light.

I brought my laptop in to have the screen
replaced and see if they could fix a key that was sticking. They
ordered and replaced the screen. However, their solution for the key
was to switch it with a less used key. Which promptly fell off. When I
said I was disappointed because now my laptop was missing a key the
owner replied that it was an 'even swap'. I said calmly that I
disagreed because now my laptop (which I use at work) was missing a key.
Then she exclaimed 'Well I'm not buying you a new freakin' keyboard!'
I merely wanted to have the cost of the key 'repair' removed from my
bill. She then threw up her hands and said 'Fine! I'll get you one off
ebay. Whatever!' Needless to say a week later I still haven't heard
from her and still have a broken keyboard. If you're looking for
professional, courteous service... don't go here.

After developing what, I thought, was a constructive and pleasent rapport with the teacher, the ensuing work done at the facility left me with a computer which was functionally in worse shape than when I brought it in especially in the lost photo-managing capability which, again, I clearly stated was my primary objective. We tried several procedures to correct the problem but could not. In frustration I made several comments that could be taken as questioning their competance but not once did I object to paying for their efforts. After bringing the computer back a second time, at their suggestion, for what was to be a complicated technical procedure, the manager became very angry at my critisism, refused to perform the procedure and asked me to leave. ( I then took the computer to Best Buy in Acworth and the wanted function was restored in 15 minutes at no charge.) From my point of view the manager needs to improve her technical skills, listen to the stated needs of her customers, control her temper and learn the primary rules for running a successful business : Rule # 1 - The customer is always right, .and, Rule # 2- If the customer is ever wrong, re-read Rule # 1. My advice: Don't get mad; get better! Good luck, Norm Drews

They were wonderful. I spent about $50 on the job. It was their diagnostic fee. When I took my computer to them, I was expecting a lot of work done on it. When they got it in, they discovered that they could not do anything on it. It was an old computer. They could not replicate the problem that I have been having. However, they went ahead and did some defragmentation and cleanup. Somehow in the process, they fixed a problem. It has not happened since. The computer is still running. They only charged the diagnostic fee, which was a very happy surprise for me. The case of my old laptop started breaking. Everything was fragile. They happened to have another one in the same model. They keep old ones for spare parts. They fixed what was broken and did not try to open the laptop. Now, the problem has been solved. My computer still works because of them. They did not try to sell me something that I did not need. They looked up online and suggested me a new computer to purchase. They were very honest about not being able to fix the problem. They are 45-minute drive from my house. I hate the thought of taking my computer to someone I don?t trust. So, I am willing to drive all the way if I have a problem in the future. I would recommend them to others. I have already given their card to a couple of people. This company was founded by a woman and she only hires women. Their selling point is that they are more personable and more willing to listen to people?s concerns. They put all the program icons back where they were. They have a waiting list. You can call ahead and put your name on the list. They will let you know the day when you can take your computer there.

I am very happy with the quality of service from The Computer Chick. They are very courteous, do an outstanding job and their prices are right in front of you when you go in so there are no hidden or unexpected fees. They are great at explaining what the problem is so that you understand.
