Ski was extremely prompt in responding to my request for a quote for kitchen backsplash. During his initial visit, he provided suggestions for trim. I purchased one, and it turned out awesome. He completed my project in a timely manner, and he did a great job! Very professional. I highly recommend Ski.

Ski arrived ahead of time installed a backspash that I had seen in magazines for a fraction of the cost. everyone is amazed when they see it. He is professional and personable. we would hire hi again and again. We recommend him anytime someone asks about tile work.

Ski did a great job installing our backsplash. He showed up on time, worked hard, and paid attention to detail. One thing that really impressed me was how he handled the following situation. We talked about how much tile was needed when Ski came out to measure and estimate the job. My wife and I got exactly what he told us to get, but it turned out to not be enough. Ski drove across town to get the extra tile and would not let me pay him for it. He said it was his mistake when he told us the wrong amount to get. That totally impressed me. I would definitely use Ski again.

Purchased the subway tile, prepared the kitchen walls and installed the tile.

M. Ziolkowski came on time, during the storm, (didn't expect him because of weather). He was quiet & proficient. He is a neat worker & finished the job in a timely manner. The price was a good one.

Ski removed the wall board before the new counter tops were installed.  He returned afterward to install new drywall & tile, which he did in 2 days!  Great job, very punctual & professional and he cleaned up after himself each day.  A+.

Ski first came to remove old tiles and backsplash so that another contract could come in and install Cabinets and Countertops. He returned on June 15th and 16th to install new tiles. He was always prompt, professional and cleaned after each segment installed. He was meticulous in measurements and the installation process.  I a highly satisfied with the entire process and would definitely recommend this company.

He did a great job.  He came for quote on time and promptly.  He did the work as he had explained.  He was even delayed because of a a plumbing issue from our side of the work.  He did not complain but waited patiently till the plumber could complete the sink install.  He never complained about that and said it was just part of the process.  His work is beautiful and I would recommend him to anyone.

I was in the midst of a bathroom remodel and my tile installer had a family emergency out of the country. I found Ski here on Angie's List, he was very responsive, professional and came out the next day to quote. He arrived on time, was specific and quick with a reasonable estimate. He began work promptly the following day and did it all in one day, despite quoting two. I was thrilled. He was incredibly neat, quiet, and very easy to work with. I've worked with a lot of contractors, this is very rare. He has my highest recommendation and I look forward to referring business to him and using him on any future tile projects.

I recently had my kitchen cabinets refaced, and they recommended Ski for my tile backsplash. He met with me twice before the tiling began and he answered all of my questions while I was in the process of choosing the tile. I cannot say enough nice things about Ski Ziolkowski! He is a good man and an artist with tile! He is a man who believes in good "old fashioned service" and “that the customer needs to be happy.” Not only is he excellent with tile, he is extremely meticulous and patient!!! I believe I may have tried his patience to the max, too!! I chose a larger than normal tile for my kitchen backsplash, which required rearranging one area more to my liking. He came back not once, but twice, to make sure that everything looked perfect. He re-grouted the backsplash a couple of days after it dried, then returned to my house about two weeks later to repair the bottom of the backsplash where it meets the counter as a result of some other work being done in my kitchen. He is thorough, he explains the process, and he offers suggestions that make the finished job look perfect!! I highly recommend Ski, and I sincerely thank him for making my kitchen beautiful!!

I've used Ski before so I new I wanted to use him again when I had a new tile project. Had to wait 2 months to get a slot on his calendar but, just as before, it was worth the wait. He was very punctual, patient (even when I changed up some things last minute in the kitchen) and did a fantastic job. Left everything as he found it and did not make a mess. Strongly recommend!
