In November/December 2019, Siding Depot replaced all the siding on my house with Hardie Plank siding and painted the new siding. I paid for each phase when Siding Depot asked for payment: payments totaling $31,080.00. All of the checks have cleared. I have paid in full what Siding Depot charged for the work. However, on February 29, 2020, I received a "Materialman's and Mechanic's Claim of Lien" against my property in the amount of "$8,821.26 plus interest thereon" from Building Supply Association (BSA). I spoke with someone at BSA and was informed that Siding Depot has not paid them for materials delivered to my house! I have paid Siding Depot in full for the goods and services they provided to me. In turn, they need to pay this "$8,821.26 plus interest thereon" for the materials they used for the job.
